Visited on Friday night with my family. The hotel is stunning with an old fashioned revolving door entrance. Really friendly staff and a quick and easy check in. We stayed in room 36 and my parents room 37; both rooms were gorgeous with a side view of the river. The bar is beautiful and a great extension to the building,...

Great location, and helpful, friendly staff. Not a chain, so rooms vary in size etc, but how much time do you want to spend in your room? Our room was lovely. Good breakfast, and the cooked breakfast is actually served to your table; so much more civilised than the usual "buffet shuffle". Recommended hotel.

Stayed here while working at RAF Lakenheath, older place but great staff, Pub and Restaurant. food at the restaurant was great and walking distance to a bunch of shops and Pubs around the area, only down size is not a lot of parking and and hard to find your way in to the parking at night if you have never...

we stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and were given room number 24. The room was amazing, spacious and beautifully decorated with a lovely river view. We had a fantastic and delicious dinner from a lovely menu. my husband had steak and I had a vegetarian meal , both were equally superb. The wine was the best I've ever had,...

The room we had was quite small but others in our party had rooms with balconies, larger rooms etc and we all paid the same price, the room was ok, no wardrobe just pegs on the wall, the bathroom was ok and the usual trimmings were fine. It is a good location for the town, we had lunch there previously...

My partner & I stayed here last weekend whilst visiting family. Brilliant location on the river, lovely spacious rooms. Clean & tidy with a cosy feel. Breakfast was a little lacking on heat & the amounts front but given it was included in the room rate I guess that's that. Wouldn't have been happy paying for it though. Staff were...

This was a lovely hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast included. Only only drawbacks were no lift and a lack of handrail for the second floor stairs. Also the room could do with repainting. Overall quality of the hotel was excellent.

We stayed here for few days while touring the area. Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff, and a great location. Location is good for Kent and the historic town of Sandwich is good for a half day walk around. The kippers for breakfast are great. The fish and chip place just around the corner, while not a 5 star...

We had our wedding at The Bell this weekend and from the moment we booked the venue Lynne the wedding coordinator expertly guided us through everything we needed to do. Special thanks also to Sarah for all her hard work during our pre-wedding family meal the night before, on the day of the wedding and then again at breakfast the...

A friendly welcome greeted me to this hotel. I took a superior room which was large, very clean and very light and airy with a view over the river and quayside. The food was good and reasonably priced and the service was of a high standard. While the hotel is quite old, it seemed very well maintained, apart from some...
