Great location, Comfortable quiet and friendly place to stay central to everything. Whistable is only a five minute car ride away where your find the best of the Kent coast. We also traveled round to Herne Bay, Margate Broadstairs & Ramsgate which weren’t disappointing and are also not to far away from where we stayed. #DownMemoryLane Would recommend

Brilliant stay with helpful, friendly staff and excellent food from Beefeater next door. Nothing too much trouble for staff and superb breakfasts and excellent lunch and evening menu. Special Valentine cocktails an excellent bonus. Well done everyone for a brilliant weekend.

I'll start by staying we booked an accessible room and we got it. But the toilet broke and one of the staff, trying to solve it I guess moved us to a usual room. That bathroom could not be used. The plumbing was fixed the next day, but by that time they quickly sorted another accessible room. Shane the maintenance man was fantastic, showing genuine care, concern and wanting to go the extra mile. The other staff were great too, and we got a free meal ant the beefeater for being inconvenienced. I will say I've stayed in a good few Premier Inns across Britain, and this Whitstable branch seems to be lagging the rest. The overall look externally showed distinct signs of wear and tear, with paint peeling in places and the illuminated signage either not working or filthy. We also sensed and heard we were not the only ones enduring snags. Yes, the staff were friendly, apologetic and all round stars, I suspect the problems are mounting and they are not necessarily supported by higher management. I'm wheelchair bound and I did struggle with entrance door (wooden door entrance) was a little high and the walkway to the Beefeater restaurant is treacherous with a growing sinkhole and broken or loose paving slabs, means it's only a matter of time before there is an injury. The hotel feels like it's on a slow decline, and certainly doesn't compare well to other Premier Inns or indeed other chain hotels, which is a pity. We opted for the extra all you can eat breakfast, and we were well pleased with that. The offered internet was too slow, but I did try to use the 'ultimate' wifi which one pays for, but it wouldn't connect or indeed take my money!

A pleasant overnight stay. Clean and comfortable with convenient Beefeater adjacent. Fairly priced and friendly staff receptionists. Everything was as expected from a Premier Inn for a one night stopover

Excellent friendly staff. Exceptionally clean & well maintained. Beefeater right next door which was ok, but didn't have a meal. Wish this Premier had its own restaurant. Only negative thing j can say is a very heavy-footed person in room above & appeared to be dancing around the room!!! But, of course, out of the control of the hotel.

Bog standard Premier Inn kitted room so no complaints there. Unfortunately the noise pollution is absolutely horrendous. Despite being right at the end of a long walk down a corridor, I had a terrible nights sleep as I can literally hear everything going on outside. The people in the rooms next door walked up and down a couple of times. No one was trying to be loud or obnoxious, but you can literally hear EVERYTHING they say, and the footsteps are enough to wake you up every single time. I could also hear noisy traffic despite being on the opposite side of the A299 and the building being far back from it. I've never encountered such poor sound proofing in a building and was woken up several times, genuinely thinking there were people in my room because of how noisy it was and how clear the sound was. Credit where it's due though. Every staff member I encountered was extremely friendly and courteous.

During the night the temperature in the room reached 29 degrees, both my children were soaked from sweating, couldn’t open the window as gnats were coming in so had to close it as there both covered in bites, the temperature control was faulty so couldn’t turn it down, it was only 8 degrees outside so the inside temperature with no heating on should not of reached so high, when I complained I was told the maintenance guy will have to look at it, and offered no refund when none of us slept due to the fact the room was boiling, we were all out of the room by 8.30am and didn’t return as it was cooler outside. Never staying here again.

One night stop over during a short cycle tour with friends. The usual comfortable rooms and wide ranging breakfast - ideal for hungry pedallers. I realised later the next day I had left my electronic device charging plug in the room. Spoke to Jack and on his advice sent a prepaid package to the hotel. They returned the item and saved me the cost and inconvenience of replacing it. Thank you to Jack and the team - excellent service.
