The Crescent Turner, Whitstable, is a stylish, 18-bedroom boutique hotel, set high up on Wraik Hill, overlooking the Kent coast. It has panoramic views of the sea and gorgeous surrounding countryside.

Whitstable is a family-orientated but fashionable seaside town - famous for its beach huts, Oyster Festival and quaint harbour. There are quirky, independent shops and galleries, Whitstable Castle and an increasingly popular arts festival - the Whitstable Biennale.

The Crescent Turner has individually designed bedrooms, a restaurant, bar, terrace area, gardens and superb view over the estuary and whitstable.

Head down to Whitstable for a family break or a romantic getaway. You'll love the subtle decor of this newly remodelled boutique hotel - less than two hours from central London. Of course, the beach is a major feature in summer, but Whitstable is busy and interesting all-year round, and there are wonderful walks in the Kent countryside and other pretty towns and villages to visit while you are here. The Crescent Turner Hotel

It would be a tough task to find fault with this beautiful hotel created from the central core of an old farmhouse overlooking Whitstable and the Swale Estuary. For many years the town's popularity for visitors has not been matched by good accommodation. Not any more. A lot of thought has gone into all areas, inside and out. Our room was spacious, comfortable and with a pleasant view towards the gentle hills. The food was superb, imaginative and well presented. We found the staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Faultless.

We were greeted in the lobby as we arrived for afternoon tea, which we thought was a nice touch. We were offered a variety of teas and coffees before a plate of crustless sandwich fingers was served, along with a warm sausage slice and filo parcels. My husband is coeliac and on a gluten free diet, his sandwiches and warm sausage roll was served separately. We didn't feel rushed and the staff were friendly and helpful. Warm fruit and plain scones clotted cream and jam came next, the gluten free ones were particularly tasty, as these can be difficult to make. Lastly came a cakestand with a variety of cakes, tarts, mini desserts and pastries. Again, the gluten free ones were very good and served on a separate cake stand You could have as much tea/coffee throughout the afternoon. We were given a box to bring home the leftover cakes and pastries. The whole afternoon was most enjoyable and we could not fault a thing. It was particularly nice not having the whole afternoon tea served at the same time, having time between "courses" . The Palm Pavilion was warm with fantastic views over the sea. Definitely will visit again.

Although the hotel is slightly tired, the room was comfortable, nice and toasty. What made my trip most enjoyable was the staff, particularly David (the GM). He was friendly, welcoming and checked on me while I worked in the lounge area. The following morning, Sarah (the owner) looked after me very well at breakfast. And the view from the dining room was lovely. I would stay here again when I next visit the area for work.

Celebrated two family members birthdays over two Sundays at the Crescent Turner. On both occasions we had the 3 course menu which is incredibly good value at £25.00. The staff are always so attentative or the food is just incredible. The view from the palm pavilion restaurant is spectacular. All the family were incredibly impressed with the location, food and service. It cannot be faulted. As a little tip, order the cinnamon creme brule if its on the menu. It is to die for.

We visited the Crescent Turner yesterday for my mother-in-law‘s 90th birthday and decided on an afternoon tea for 34 close friends and family. It all went really well and we thoroughly enjoyed the celebration. We had previously arranged it all with Sarah who was very helpful and had some good suggestions to make the day special, as she was away on the actual day we were left in the capable hands of Ruyman who was very attentive and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Would thoroughly recommend this establishment. The view is superb and the food and service is excellent.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here with friends. The food was amazing, and the staff were all lovely, friendly, and attentive. 3 course set menu was well worth it and food was delicious. View is stunning over the estuary. Third visit and I can highly recommend

We had a lovely time at this hotel last night with 40 plus family and friends of my dad for his birthday. The effort the staff put in, led by Owner Sarah, was excellent, the food was fresh and well cooked , the ambiance was stylish and the whole evening went really well. The welcome made you feel a valued customer from minute one and the way the staff worked to keep food and drink coming through the evening was very impressive, highly professional and there was nothing that was too much trouble. We will certainly be returning

Brilliant Xmas work do. The rooms are lovely and warm and spacious. We dined in the restaurant and food was exquisite. Hospitality was five star from all the staff. Welcoming and professional and nothing was too much trouble. We are looking forward to returning and it’s lovely to know we can visit the restaurant or bar alone (as we are local). Really beautiful place!

We had a recent 3 night Stay from 14th October at the Crescent Turner Hotel, Whitstable. Sarah the Manager of the Hotel really made our stay, she was responsive to a couple of issues and ensured they were taken care of efficiently and without fuss or hassle. The whole team at the hotel were helpful and professional and I can recommend the hotel, the views from it's position are superb and we were extremely lucky that the weather was good in October for our long weekend. Thanks Sarah for making us welcome
