The Crescent Turner, Whitstable, is a stylish, 18-bedroom boutique hotel, set high up on Wraik Hill, overlooking the Kent coast. It has panoramic views of the sea and gorgeous surrounding countryside.

Whitstable is a family-orientated but fashionable seaside town - famous for its beach huts, Oyster Festival and quaint harbour. There are quirky, independent shops and galleries, Whitstable Castle and an increasingly popular arts festival - the Whitstable Biennale.

The Crescent Turner has individually designed bedrooms, a restaurant, bar, terrace area, gardens and superb view over the estuary and whitstable.

Head down to Whitstable for a family break or a romantic getaway. You'll love the subtle decor of this newly remodelled boutique hotel - less than two hours from central London. Of course, the beach is a major feature in summer, but Whitstable is busy and interesting all-year round, and there are wonderful walks in the Kent countryside and other pretty towns and villages to visit while you are here. The Crescent Turner Hotel

We decided to visit Whitstable for our First Wedding Anniversary. Upon looking for places to stay we came across this lovely boutique hotel and how pleased was I. It was a little annoying that you couldn't book via their website, however upon filling out their web form I was contacted and given their best rates. I commented on wanting a bath with the room. But their only room with one was booked for one of the nights. Not a problem. However upon check-in, when we were shown to our room, we had been moved to the room with a bath. What a lovely suprise. I mentioned to the staff that this was our wedding anniversary and we were greeted with a lovely treat plate (plus we got one with dinner), both with the writing Happy Anniversary. Location - great for walking into Whitstable. Would suggest getting a taxi home as we did as it's a bit of a hill Staff - couldn't do more for you whilst you are there. From bringing us an ice bucket and glasses to our room, to serving up a quick late breakfast for us when we missed service. Hotel - room was lovely. Clean, unique, comfortable, great views. I could go on. I look forward to visiting again in the summer so we can sit out and enjoy the patio area.

There’s nothing quite like a little break at the English seaside to get you away from the city, and so literally within 45 minutes of getting off a plane from Milan, Mãrc and I are packed in the sports car on what will probably be the last weekend I have with this car and heading down to Whitstable in Kent. I have friends who live in the area, but we’ll be staying at the Crescent Turner hotel which is just outside the town with a fabulous view. We check-in late and check-in is exceptionally friendly. I’ve had cause to make a couple of phone calls to the hotel beforehand and on each occasion they’ve been well received and exceptionally well dealt with. Our room is the only room on the second floor, and as two guys, who are 6 foot, there are areas of it which feel a little claustrophobic. It’s not an enormous room and not much space around the bed, but there is the added joy of a balcony and the weekend turns out to be fine and sunny and the view from the balcony is absolutely fantastic. Breakfast is a delight, and we chose to have it both mornings of our stay. Service is friendly and there is a feeling that the staff here can’t do enough for you. Dinner looks great too although we have been recommended by friends to visit a restaurant in nearby Tankerton on the Saturday night, so we didn’t get chance to sample the dinner menu having arrived very late on Friday. Crescent Turner does seem to be a popular venue for functions and weddings and has a large teepee in the garden. There was a birthday party on one of the nights that we stayed, but the noise was well managed and didn’t run too late. Whitstable has become a very trendy little town to wander round, and the Crescent Turner hotel is a great place to base yourself.

We joined our car club TIPEC (The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club) here for the weekend, on a Friday for three nights. This is a lovely boutique hotel with a style of its own. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. Sarah and her team work well together. The view from the hotel, out to the coast, is picturesque when it's clear. It changes all the time! Our room was a family room equipped with a double and two singles (there were only two of us but would be ideal for a young family.) Meals that were served were plentiful, tasty, and flavoursome. The Saturday evening event was held in the Teepee which made a memorable evening. Thank you, Crescent Turner Hotel, for a weekend to remember.

We celebrated a family gathering with over 120 family members last month. The teepee is amazing, extremely beautiful and very unique. We were greeted with a refreshing glass of Pims/peroni and the food was delicious with a wide variety to choose from. And they accommodated our many food allergies. Sarah, David and their team were outstanding and incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Infact they went above and beyond to make sure the event and our stay went as smoothly as possible. Sadly, we only stayed 1 night but we are keen to stay again soon as the rooms are all unique. With amazing views. The Sunday lunch is fabulous with such a good choice. Our whole experience was fantastic and we can’t recommend it enough!

We got married here last July and booked our company staff and customer party here. It just so happened to coincide with the Kings Coronation. We booked a room for ourselves for two nights (room 11 m) wow! What a room with a view with an additional balcony too. The party that we held in the tipi was as previous superb. The staff here are so friendly and accommodating nothing is too much hassle. The chef spoke to us the evening before to discuss the plans and the staff during the event were so amazing. The food we had at the party and during our time on the patio and at breakfast was fresh and super tasty. I have nothing bad to say we just love our time here. Thank you to Sarah and ALL your team

We had a really lovely stay at Crescent Turner, we’ve been coming to Whitstable for almost 20 years and didn’t know it existed. Nestled on a hill outside of the town it has an amazing sea views and is in a quiet location. A great sleep and comfortable rooms for our family of four - excellent English breakfast in the morning too! My mum and dad hired their big teepee for a family gathering and it was the perfect venue and the staff were all really wonderful.

Absolutely lovely place. Greeting friendly, polite and helpful. Excellent food and service. Not rushed to leave the beautiful terrace, but just to come in when we were ready. Will definitely become regulars.

My husband and I married here last year and it is the most perfect venue. The scenery from the tipi, the restaurant and some of the rooms is second to none. The staff are absolutely incredible and nothing is too much trouble, whilst also being so laid back making you feel extremely comfortable. The rooms themselves are beautiful, extremely clean, with very comfortable beds and linen. The food and drinks are wonderful. An absolute 10/10 whether you're planning on just staying the night, or having a special occasion here, you won't be disappointed! We live in Whitstable, but so glad we made the decision to stay the night after our wedding to feel pampered.

Just back from a wonderful weekend at this beautiful hotel. We had a gorgeous, large room with a view of the sea and our own patio. The owner, Sarah, and her fantastic staff make this hotel stay exceptional. We will definitely return to this peaceful oasis away from it all - thank you.
