Our stay at the Marine Hotel was fabulous! A very warm welcome at reception from the lovely Karen, started our visit brilliantly. The room and en suite were very clean, well presented, cosy, and complete with sea view. Breakfast via room service was good, as was dinner in the restaurant the night before. The staff were all friendly, professional and accomodating. A very relaxing stay. Thank you. We shall return!

Lovely hotel and staff great room with sea views. My only negative is would’ve been better if it had a walking separate shower . ( getting in the bath to have a shower in a bit dated ) but a really lovely hotel and we will definitely revisit .

Would like to give more than 3 stars as the Marine has some great qualities but some let downs too. All the staff are excellent and will do all they can to help. Breakfast was good too and the views from the seaward facing rooms was lovely. The evening meals were a little odd, schnitzel with mash! Some combinations that didn't seem right but overall the quality was good. Drinks were very expensive though. The worst thing to my mind was no central heating in the rooms just an electric radiator! Hardly what you'd expect in 2023 especially for the price. Rooms did get reasonably warm but luckily the weather wasn't too cold. In summary, over priced, poor heating but great staff

Staff were all very friendly. Breakfasts were generous and generally very tasty. Husband reports the coffee was very weak though. Also had lunch there one day and dinner one evening. Found the sandwiches dry but the calamari, garlic prawns and the prawn and chorizo linguine were all big hits! Loved the sticky toffee pudding too! Room was big and we had a sea view. It was quite plain and the bathroom was arctic-ally cold! Having the start/finish line for parkrun basically outside the door was fantastic!

The room exceeded expectations. It was clean and well presented with fabulous sea views. There was a good choice for the breakfast menu and all of the staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel is well situated and is only a 15 minute walk away from Whitstable Town centre.

Charming hotel with nicely decorated rooms; worth treating yourself to a sea view one with balcony. Rooms also have nice bathroom with room for two in the tub. Good menu at both breakfast and dinner with friendly helpful staff. Short walk to centre of Whitstable with local Tankerton shops right by; but location all about fab view to the sea.

We stayed here as family and can’t rate the hotel more highly . The family room is spacious and beautifully decorated. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was exceptionally good. I ate the crab and prawn linguine and it was delicious . Brownie with peanut butter also a highlight . The Bar area was also a great space and perfect for relaxing in . Really well located for exploring Whitstable - perfect hotel .
