We have stayed at The Oaks several times as we enjoy the whole experience so much. The rooms are always large and very comfortable. The spa facilities totally relaxing. The meals including breakfast and evening meals are delicious and the staff service is particularly good. Lovely hotel and on the entertainment evenings both the food and entertainment have been excellent.

We booked to have our wedding breakfast and evening wedding reception at the Oaks Hotel due to it being a local venue and easy for our guests to attend. From the off, we were made to feel like nothing was too much trouble. We booked our wedding almost 2 years in advance and had numerous meetings with the wedding co-ordinator...

Only needed a meeting room for a couple of hours. Unfortunately they didn't have it cleaned ready for arrival.... wouldn't like to think it was as careless with changing bed linen in the rooms if I needed to stay the night.... disappointed really as stated before and enjoyed it.... bit put off however complimentary tea and biscuits were given and...

The property is not the fanciest place I have ever stayed, but the combination of what it is (a beautiful building, good amenities, great price, and wonderful service) set it apart. We were staying at the last minute due to a family bereavement and the hotel staff could not have been more helpful and efficient - even before they knew...

A lovely hotel with leisure facilities including sauna, jacuzzi, and swimming pool. Our treatments were part of a deal and we received a back massage, foot massage and facial, only thing was she was on her own so we were split up and at completely different times. We were put in the bridal suite room it was spacious and cosy....

I was a bit skeptical before checking in, but from the minute we set foot in the door the staff won us over with their genuine welcome and charm. Every single staff member that we spoke with and interacted with was delightful. For this reason alone I would return. Housekeeping was terrible - three of us to a room, yet...

We've just checked out of here and we had a good time. The relatively modest rate include breakfast and a decent 3 course evening meal. Breakfast could have been a little better as the buffet kept "running out" of bacon then eggs etc but the house menu evening meal was good. The bar was less successful with limited seating, no...

Been there quite a bit. Some of the rooms really are needing a major refurbishment and can struggle to heat up. Staff are nice and breakfast, whilst limited, is fine. No problems with parking or WiFi either. It just needs money spent on the rooms to bring it up to date.
