I was in that xmas dinner party with the afore mentioned review, and no coffee was offered at all. Im not one for cheesy xmas decorations but lets face it it didnt look one but christmasy. As for the Turkey crown if indeed thats what it was, it was of a low quality, just like pressed turkey. I dont expect...

We arrived as a party of 4 adults and a 7 year old child. The bar area was lovely with professional service and the setting was really Christmassy.I was very impressed and was looking forward to a lovely christmas day dinner. We were shown into the restaurant area and our table. The table had some festive crackers on and that...

Dear Susan, Many thanks for your taking the time to write your review. I would like to address some of the issues raised regarding your lunch booking. Your table was allocated in the glass paneled conservatory. The window sills and the wall all around the room were dressed with festive garlands and reefs and vases filled with Holly ans Mistletoe,...

This is a large Victorian house up the hill in what was presumably the posh part of town. Many of the original features appear to have been retained but the decor is possibly not to everyone's taste. Our suite was on the second floor with its own lounge area and four poster bed. I couldn't seem to lock the room...

We visited the restaurant to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday. A group of eight guests were welcomed into the beautiful reception area and offered drinks in a comfortable sitting room before being taken to our table. The service was excellent and we all enjoyed the food served in a very elegant dining room. Despite the grand surroundings the atmosphere was...

A beautiful old house with the warmest of welcomes after a long journey. Staying and grandmothers house - surrounded by antiques and flee market collectibles was interesting and quirky - however there needs to be an edit to retain the styled displays - as I found the artificial flowers and dust traps were edging on messy. The rooms are very...

I only stayed in Burnley because myself and my mate were mountain biking and this was half way between destinations. Turning up there, it was obvious to see that this building is an old house from a bygone age. Originally owned by a wealthy man during the cotton industry era of Burnley. Entering the building, if you have any interest...

its taken me a week to sit and write this review as I do so with great regret. The other half and I on another away football trip and found ourselves this hotel which promised much and failed on many levels. We arrived on a grim Friday afternoon and was greeted with a lovely receptionist who checked us in with...

We had a really nice stay at the hotel last week. The hotel is really handy and welcoming and the staff are a credit. The room we stayed in was quite spacious and very clean. The breakfast was good and set me up for the day.
