We received a warm welcome when we arrived, tired, filthy and dripping wet after cycling from Liverpool in the rain. Safe place to store our bikes and the owner even offered to jet wash them. A warm, clean room. Peaceful nights sleep and breakfast freshly cooked to order. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a great place to stay.

I've stayed at several hotels and B&B's in the East Lancs area, and for me, this is the BEST!! I stayed here for two months (early March to early May 2014) and I cannot praise the place enough... ROOMS: Tastefully decorated, en suites, very comfortable beds, well equipped with flat screen tv's with inbuilt DVD players, DVDs, books, magazines, coffee...

We chose this guest house because of its proximity to the Leeds/Liverpool Canal where we were having a weekend cycling. It is clean, comfortable, the breakfast plentiful and our hosts very friendly. They offered to lock our bikes away in the shed. Although on the main road and within spitting distance of the M65, triple glazing meant there was little...

I needed somewhere to stay whilst visiting family . This B&B is perfect for that . The room was very comfortable and had nice little touches . It was very clean . Despite being on a busy road, at night it was surprisingly quiet . I was in a room in the lodge, which is a separate annexe. Breakfast was...

My friend and I were going to the Accrington Stanley game and this place is within 15 minutes walk. We shared room 5 which had two comfortable single beds, TV, ensuite shower/toliet. Everything was of a good quality. We liked the touch of there being some DVDs and books in the room. We had an evening meal in their small...

This reviewer can remember the Golden Age of Cortina (later Mondeo/Cavalier etc.) Man, when the roads teemed with expense account wielding business types filling the long-gone Trust- House Forte and similar hotel chains. Reps in their Cortina L's were confined to Trust Houses. Executives (Cortina GL's and above) got to stay in Forte Crest's. Happy Days! Then the accountants took...

This is a really nice place to stay with a big welcome I have stayed here on two occasions so far. I was torn between keeping this Hotel my little secret, or sharing the information with fellow travelers. But a sense of fairness one through, this really is a delightful little Hotel with very friendly people looking after you. It...
