Set in beautiful grounds, Mitton Hall is everything you would want for a short stay. The entrance hall is stunning as it maintains its country manor house feel. Room accommodation is excellent ranging from fantastic large suites downsizing to simple modernistic double bedrooms. Stayed for two nights, to celebrate my nephew's wedding. The service throughout the two days was excellent,...

We decided to stay here as we wanted to try somewhere a bit different. We chose the Mitton Suite for a 2 night stay with breakfast and Dinner. We were impressed with the look of the hotel on arrival and nice grounds. If you have stilettos on please note it is all little stones no paths so they wreck your...

This Hotel accepted my booking and later cancelled by e mail I booked through a booking agent on Trip Advisor and it was accepted, I received an email later telling me that the hotel was full and they shouldn't have accepted my booking. They also said that they did not have my correct phone number, (apparently the booking agent could...

We came for afternoon tea for my friend's birthday. The hall is in a lovely setting and very grand. The afternoon tea was delicious and as is always the case far too much food. Sandwiches, scones, 3 different cakes and a banoffee pot. Unlimited tea~ just ask for more if needed. Lovely friendly staff.

I have been to the UK a few time and now go out of my way to spend time at Mitton Hall. If you're wanting high energy excitement then don't go to Mitton Hall, all you will get here is pure relaxing class. The staff are sensational and outstandingly courteous, and covet the respectful demeanour that this venue demands. This...

Went on a Monday for afternoon tea - really impressive building and stunning inside (we sat next to the log fire for a while which was nice). The staff were all really friendly however the sandwiches were all very dry. The deserts were beautiful.

The staff, the venue, the room, the food and location were all amazing. Recommend for a wedding although try having some of it outside and the beauty of the venue cam be lost otherwise. Good range of drinks on the bar.

Went for an impromptu lunch with my Mum. The place was bustling with a wedding. Even though it was busy, they fitted us in. The food was nicely presented and tasted wonderful. We were disappointed in the type of service we had. Although the waitresses were very polite and professional, they were more like sales people. It's not the type...

A fantastic venue for a lovely wedding! From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome here, all the staff we came into contact with were brilliant. The wedding went very smoothly and was a great family reunion, in fact it was so good it continued until the small hours. The night porter who was serving us was very surprised...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A four star country house hotel providing luxury accommodation at the heart of the fabulous Ribble Valley. Our big idea for bringing this magnificent 15th Century manor house back to life was to take it back to its roots and make it feel like a home again. Somewhere that looks and feels like it belongs to somebody. Stunning interior design and decoration perfectly complement the ancient architectural features to create a contemporary country house hotel. Both effortlessly beautiful and unashamedly romantic. The ambience is quite unique. It is certainly luxurious and feels exclusive but the luxury and exclusivity are open to all. From a relaxing morning coffee or afternoon tea, to lunch or dinner and for everything in between. ... more   less
