We met a friend for lunch, the place quiet, we got a nice welcome and ordered our food. My wife had brie and bacon pannini, I had fish finger sandwich and our friend had vegetarian lasagne. We enjoyed the food though it was not outstanding,. We would however go again.

Called in for a beer last Sunday afternoon and it was a lot quiter than usual, they have taken some lagers off which is a shame because now they have empty pumps on the bar. My first pint was not very good so tried a different one but a lot more expensive.

Immaculate room, comfy bed, toiletries of good quality ,even nice biscuits on tea tray. Breakfast was included , and cooked to order, very tasty. Only problem for us being old Codgers, our room was on top floor, and there was not a lift, however help was offered with cases. Would definitely stay again and ask for a room on first...

We were a largish party hungry after a days walking and were not disappointed when we chose this place to eat. Friendly service and good reasonably priced food made this a good choice. Will recommend to my friends.

We stayed one night and this place is nice. The room was very nice and the bed was extra comfy. The staff are great. Note that as a hotel, this is also a pub next to a train station, but the clue is in the name. If you stay Sunday be aware that food finishes at 6pm and the bar...

My daughter stayed there whilst visiting me last weekend, As a family we went to visit the room. It was lovely, clean and bright, and newly furnished, with the added bonus of a view of the castle. The manager was most helpful regarding parking and I unnderstand that the breakfast was excellenht.

We ate dinner there twice and very enjoyable. Great location and close to beautiful stunning scenery and walks. We climbed the fab Pendle Hill with stunning views and...

Spent lovely last three days in the Edinburgh suite where the room was spacious and clean. However I have to disagree with the last review we where waken every morning around 6 am by the road noise and the buses pulling into the train station opposite double/triple glazing would be useful in this room. My family where in the higher...
