We stayed for one night. The room was standard and very comfortable. The bed was great and the bathroom large and freshly done. The grounds day are very well kept and the ambiance of the hotel friendly. The evening meal was a really pleasant surprise. Excellent food presented in a modern manner with lots of taste. Breakfast was also perfect....

We had our Golden Wedding family celebration there on Sunday 29th August 2015.There were 30 of us and everyone had their meal served hot and together, the quality and choice of food was amazing and the staff were so professional, they looked after us all afternoon.I could recomment this restaurant to anyone, the age group of our party was from...

Stayed here twice now, staff are very helpful and friendly, location is in a nice quiet set of gardens off the main road. Rooms are clean and well maintained. This is a popular place for weddings, make sure you stay away from the function room if you are there at the weekend.

Two nights of delicious meals beautifully presented. Excellent newly refurbished hotel, and the staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly. It would also be perfect for a wedding reception, and facilities appear excellent for business courses.

we have known Astley Bank for some years but hadn't had a meal there in the last 12 months. We booked a Sunday lunch to celebrate my parents anniversary. My mother has walking difficulties but there was plenty of disabled parking bays right on the doorstep. We had a fabulous welcome from Sue, who noted that she hadn't seen us...

My husband and I had our wedding reception here years ago and return regularly for an overnight stay or a meal. We have never, ever been disappointed. The food is fabulous and the service always excellent. Vegetarians are always catered for with meals that are a little more adventurous than the usual goats cheese choices. Save yourself for dinner and...

This is a lovely family hotel in fantastic elegant surroundings. We have a favourite room that has a spa bath and is in the main hotel where the best rooms are. The rooms in the corridor are a lot smaller but still nice. Our room was elegant and stylish, the bathroom fantastic. The only negative is that we can't live...

There's not a lot to chose from if you are staying in Darwen and rightly aren't wanting to stay in Blackburn but if you have to money then I would recommend you try this place. I've been about four times now and I always check to see if they are having a wedding when I am staying (they usually are...

Access to the hotel is pretty poor up a winding lane. First impressions are good with nice grounds. A good sized car park and close to the main entrance. The room was clean and tidy, but fine detail and finishing touches should be better for a hotel in this price bracket. As a couple, we would have expected 2 large...
