We stayed here on 11th July as we were attending a wedding down the road at Stanley house. We picked it as it was very close by and cheap! I wasn't expecting much to be honest as it's a pub with the accomodation as an add on, but I was very pleasantly surprised as the room was very nice with...

The Windmill is basically a food pub with rooms to let. Our room was very clean and with all you would expect, hair dryer, tea and coffee, TV, Wifi, en suite, towels, toiletries. There were no complaints at all. If there was anything to criticise it would be that the establishment is a pub and therefore the room letting is...

Stayed here for working in Preston. Its dirty, damp and did not have the towels or the bed linen changed in a whole week we were there. Its a shame because the food was ok and the BAR staff were pleasant enough. The televisions in 2 of the 3 rooms i was in didnt work and neither did the bedside lamps.We...

We stayed here as we were at a wedding just down the road. The food in the restaurant was freshly made and delicious and very reasonably priced. Our room was clean, tea making facilities were available and there were clean towels and toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast the next morning was lovely and there was plenty of food and...

Food not correct when ordered, poor tasting meals, poor service, and long waiting time for food and chef appeared under the influence of alcohol with little waiting staff that appeared to be still at school.

I booked two "Deluxe" double rooms 8 months in advance as we were going to a family wedding nearby. i contacted the hotel 5 months before to be told there was no record of our booking because the previous manager had left. I was told that there was a twin and double left but then promised they would make sure...

We stayed at this hotel as we were at a function close by. This was not the cheapest hotel and cost us £65.00 for the night. The rooms are totally in need of a refurb. They were not very clean either with cob webs hanging from the ceiling, dust all over. Not very pleasant smelling. I knew about the access...

Came on Tuesday evening and had a very pleasant meal with the Carers Central group from Preston. Staff very friendly and helpful. The food was served hot and was delicious. I would certainly recommend a visit here and look forward to receiving my discount card whereupon I will visit again!

I stayed here for one night. I usually stay at the bulls head but they didnt have anyrooms left. This place is clean, tidy, and is perfect for a short stay. I would stay here again. It cost £55 for a night which about £10 too much but overall very good
