Friendly, relaxed atmosphere, good facilities, excellent breakfast at a time of our choosing. There were three of us in separate rooms, attending a class mate's funeral and Dee moved our rooms to make sure we were all near one another, which was really thoughtful. She made what was a difficult couple of days so much smoother than expected.

Stayed one night to attend a funeral in local area. Chosen because close to railway station. Requested early check-in which wasn't a problem. Staff moved allocated rooms so several friends attending the same funeral could be close together. Room very comfortable with all necessary amenities. Absolutely delicious cooked breakfast. All this for a very reasonable price.

Went to a charity event at this hotel. Although it was peak season for events (Dec 23rd) there was no choice of beer at the bar. They had pumps for any number of brands but the only beer available was Carling. Likewise for wines and mixers. Very little choice. It seemed as though it was a surprise that a 100...

The room was not prepossessing, the bed set against a dull wall, did not have a table, no shelf for putting larger object. One of...

All I'll say about this place is all of the above. good and bad????? I won't be back to this so called hotel.A hostle would be miles better. No staff, no towels, and no breakfast. The funny thing the place seems revamped for the past three years or so and nothing has changed, from some of the reviews
