The kids loved their meals - 8oz burger and curries - adults loved their food too! Great food - cooked to order - good selection of ales - can't fault this place - it's not a gastro pubs but good honest pub fare - love it!!!!

Hearty food, great beer, excellent and friendly hosts... what more could you want for a family night out in Filey?!! I had lasagne and it was homemade and delicious, served with stacks of yummy chips, salad and garlic bread!!!

Excellent beer and great food. Hospitality was brilliant as well. A good selection of bitters including Black Sheep. No airs or graces just a good yorkshire pub! Good sized beer garden for the summer months as well. Would definitely recommend this pub!

We had food at this pub during a recent stay in Filey and we found it to be of a very good standard. We would definitely eat here again. Nice friendly local pub with a nice beer garden at the back. Friendly staff too. Good place.

This pub advertisers it is open until 12.00 on two occasions last night and tonight we were turned away at 11.30 and 11.40 respectively as this is last pub in Filey before caravan park was not expecting this as publicans ourselves could not understand why they turned us away not just once but twice when they were supposed to be...

What a shame that this so-called publican chooses to criticise us like this. We would have thought he might already be aware that when we (and any other pub owner for that matter) have already done a long 15 hour day, we reserve the right not to serve customers coming in at 11.45pm for one drink. To this so-called reviewer,...

We went to the station a couple of times for a meal the food was lovely and everything was homemade which you can't beat. The staff were very accommadating. They also have self catering holiday lets at the back of the pub which i think my parents are going to try next year. We will definitely be visting again on...

Popped in for our lunch while staying in our camper van at the Brigg My wife had the scampi, and i had the steak and ale pie with mash and four vegetables. Both meals freshly cooked , filling and tasty. Didn't need any tea later, but went back to sample the ale. This is superbly kept, best beer in Filey. The...

I wandered in on a weeknight evening and was surprised to find the place quite busy - it was pool night locally and a very serious do it was too. As I watched the matches I was curious about the layout and noticed that the bit of bar I was occupying along with everyone else extended into another room and...

Thanks for your review - but are you sure you have got the right pub? We have SIX cask ales on and it is the major part of our offer - nothing standard about having the biggest selection in Filey... Appreciate the layout is strange, but you have the Victorian designers to thank for that, however do please feel free...

Ideal place to stay if you want cheap, basic accommodation. The room had a tv, shower, microwave, fridge, a sink, crockery and cutlery. It was dog friendly and you could get to a dog walk within 5 minutes. There was a shared, enclosed yard which in summer you could sit out in. There was no pub noise as the room...
