We stayed here for two nights while enjoying a mini break in North Yorkshire. The owners were very friendly and engaged in lively conversation whilst looking after our every need. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed, and there was no need to eat at any other establishment as the food, served in the hotel's small restaurant, was...

We opted for one of the hotel's superior rooms and were very impressed. The bed was lovely and comfy, linen and towels were fabulously fresh, and the room bright and comfortable. The only thing I could suggest to make...

Very reasonable, with a surprisingly fine restaurant. Great choice of dishes at dinner, well cooked and presented. Breakfasts consist of real sausages, real bacon and real farm eggs - quality is superb. I'd be staying again!

We were walking the Pennine Way staying in B&Bs, traveling light. Arriving at hospitality after a day's walk is always a pleasure, but Cocketts was especially so. Centrally situated, it is probably the best hotel in the charming little market town of Hawes. The hotel is quaint but well fitted out and modernized. Very comfortable and an excellent breakfast. Reasonable.
