Beautiful setting for any wedding, staff were great and food just wonderful, we stayed in room "York " truly amazing loved every moment of being there. We stayed Tuesday till Thursday, nothing was to much trouble, guests borrowed irons and they were taken to the rooms on request. I would say drinks are a little expensive but apart from that...

First time visitors, and shall return. We found the hotel on Google as looking for a luxury hotel in Yorkshire. We were not disappointed. It is indeed a luxurious old hall with extremely welcoming staff. Fine dining is important to us coupled with good wine. GH has both. It only has about 12 rooms so it is intimate and the...

We attended our friends wedding yesterday at Goldborough Hall. ...wow what an amazing day! We parked up and walked towards the venue and were met with an amazing sight, the place is stunning. Me and my partner stayed at Goldsborough as part of a wedding party for the night. The wedding was superb, the different elements of the day all ran smoothly without any signs of being rushed. The food throughout the day from the mini fish and chips canapés to the finale of sticky toffee pudding were all divine. In the morning...

I booked this hall not really knowing much about it or it's location, which admittedly it is a little bit out the way. But what a pleasant surprise! Everything about the hall is stunning, the grounds are absolutely beautiful and it was lovely to stroll around them. Our Suite was so luxurious and all the rooms throughout the hall were...

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Goldsborough Hall with friends last Friday evening. The hotel is located within a quiet village setting, hidden just off the main street. All staff we engaged with were very friendly, courteous and personable - Mel took very good care of us when we returned to the hotel after dinner in Wetherby. The...

We returned to Goldsborough Hall for our anniversary, after having our wedding reception here last year. It was equally as amazing as how I remembered it. The staff are so very welcoming & made a bit of a fuss of us! Alison, on reception, the restaurant staff, and of course James, the General Manager. It was lovely to see everyone...

The amount of work that the current owner's have put in to restore this beautiful building back to its former glory is breath-taking. The establishment is staffed by an enthusiastic, friendly and efficient team eager to help. The restaurant knocks out really good quality food come dinner time, the breakfast is superb after a nights slumber in the immaculate, well...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Goldsborough Hall is a beautifully restored, privately owned stately home tucked away in the small village of Goldsborough, just off the A59 between Harrogate and the A1M. The 400yr old hall has had many residents through the years, being built for the high sheriff of Yorkshire, the last resting place of the eldest founding father to all thoroughbred horses and most famously the first family home of HRH Princess Mary, the aunt of our current Queen. ... more   less
