Have visited this establishment regularly for past 6 months and found it a little basic and sometimes chaotic during Sunday lunch, but otherwise no major issues. They have a reward scheme on Sundays which involves getting a card stamped in order to get a free dessert or carvery etc. On previous visits we have got the stamp and immediately enjoyed...

It was the night I was dreaming for, lovely pub, great food and a lovely bed. But what made it amazing was Jack, my date. He was great to have around and he recommended as he lives in the village. I met him with a cheeky kiss and his breath was so sweet on my face. We talked and ate...

Stopped for my tea here, ordered a Hot beef sandwich, came with home made chips and salad for £6.95, great meal and great price and plenty on your plate, served with a friendly smile, very happy with this place, situated right on the road so you can't miss it, plenty of space to park around the back with some places...

Stumbled across this pub when going to the Recycling Site. It looks like a typical country pub from the outside with limited parking at the front(more at the back). We got a very warm welcome and ordered a couple of steaks - these were done to perfection - the ale wasnt bad either. Lovely experience.

Reasonably prices and just off the A1(M) so a good place to break your journey north or south. There is a sell all shop just down the road and you are a short drive into town (Moulton). There is also plenty of off road parking at the front of the Hotel and more round the back.

Lovely surprise. On first impressions, I was a little unsure about this pub. It seemed a bit rundown and closed? However after locating fantastic Phil who showed us our room and gave us a warm welcome, things became a nice surprise. Great room, great shower, very good evening meal and an amazing full english breakfast the next morning cooked by...

We visited here as we wanted a family room near the army base before our son enlisted - this fitted the bill perfectly as room 4 (the family room) has a double bedded room with a separate room with 2 full size singles in it. We had a lovely welcome after a LONG drive up - (beware the roadworks on...
