Ann and Cliff were wonderful hosts and our two rooms were very comfortable. Public wifi in Robin Hoods Bay is run by a coop, for which Cliff quickly got us a pass -- one payment of just 5 pounds paid for all our family's computers all over town for two days. So this was not strictly "free" wifi but it... More

homely guest house, tastey breakfast, perfect room, comfy bed, large bathroom , sunny breakfast room. But the best thing is the warm friendly welcome ,not only from Anne but her family also. i have stayed in bed and breakfasts on numerous occassions but this one takes some beating, yes its not 5 star.. but it does what it says on... Stayed for two nights and was very very impressed. Bedroom was spotless, big, perfect temperature, well stocked tea/coffee/biscuits etc. Bed was very comfy, extra cushions and the flat screen telly with freeview were a nice touch. Bathroom was massive with a corner bath but the shower was not working which was a bit disappointing, though hot water was plentiful. The... More

We booked with Ann and Cliff as we were visiting Whitby for the Hallowe'en weekend and could find nowhere within Whitby centre. There must have been an angel on my shoulder when i phoned up because this has to be the best B&B I have ever stayed in! The bed is so comfortable, the bathroom is fantastic and Ann and... More

We stayed at Falconhurst for seven nights which is perhaps unusual for a bed and breakfast trip but we like to chose a good place to stay and use it as a base to explore the local area. We really felt at home with a friendly welcome throughout. The family's living rooms are completely separate from the guest area (... More

I stayed in Falconhurst from 18th to 22nd Jan, so I can work to develop training modules with Cliff. Cliff and his wife Ann, and the rest of family kindly treated me as one of them. The room is spacious, comfortable and bright, when the weather is sunny. The bath room is very spacious and clean. Despite the weather and... More

Put quite simply I think that this is the best B&B my husband and I have stayed in. We arrived for our three night stay at around lunch time and were met by Ann who runs the B&B, she was friendly and welcoming and showed us our room - which was massive! Not only to you get a large double... More

We wanted a nice relaxing romatic break, to get away from it all and recharge our batteries. We looked on the website and Falconhurst looked lovely. We emailed for vacancies and got a very prompt reponse from Sue saying they had a room available. We arrived on the 10th of May on a beautiful sunny day to be met by... More

My Husband and I have not long returned from a trip to Robin Hood’s Bay. We booked the B&B ‘Falconhurst’ for a two night stay. It was a great place. We found it difficult to believe that Ann and Cliff had only been in the B&B business for a couple of months – they were the perfect hosts, welcoming and... More
