Having driven past this place many times, we decided to pop in for lunch. The lunch menu is reasonable and we both had sausage, egg and chips. It was absolutely lovely! Proper sausages and all delicious and well cooked. The staff are nice and the service was good. We are keen to try the Sunday lunch, wish we lived nearer!

My wife and I decided to walk from our village (Crick) to Kilsby yesterday for a light bite, and a glass of wine, had a lovely chat with the owner, then we had a great brunch and 3 large glasses of wine (me) then depart for Crick, took quite a while longer to get back due to a slight stagger...

The ideal location of The George near Rugby and off the motorway makes it an ideal spot for those in the know to have a meal and stay if required. I cannot speak for the rooms but I am always consistently impressed by their food. They have a lovely bar menu in additikn to a slightly fancier restuarant style in...

My twin and I have just celebrated reaching 70, with a lunch for 12 of our family at the George. As always, the food was perfect, all meals coming in quick succession and hot too. The first time I'd been since the redecoration..very tasteful and still have kept the features in the room. After several changes to our seating requests, they...

Met a friend there for a week day lunch, we were surprised how busy it was, but plenty of room in the bar. Did feel it lacked a bit of atmosphere but every thing was nice and clean. Good menu and food at a reasonable price. Good coffee.

We have visited this pub twice since my last review and have excellent food and service on both occasions. The food was extremely tasty and the service came with a smile which sometimes is a rare thing in other establishments. We have had to eat in the bar both times as we booked late so haven't actually sat in the...

This was recommended to us, though we've lived in the area for 20 years, have not heard of it before. Plenty of parking. We got a table for 2 easily on a Tuesday night and chose from the A La Carte menu - Wed and Thurs are special nights. Food was delicious, flavorsome and nicely fresh. We had cod coujons...

4 of us went for a Sunday roast (3 adults and 1 six year old). We each had a seperate meat: Beef, pork and lamb. We were all agreed that the food was cooked perfectly and best of all it came out hot. The child's menu and food wre also good. We will definitely go back and based on our...
