Nicest B&B we have ever stayed at, probably because it is the most expensive one we have visited. We spent 3 nights in The Blue Room, which is a modest size but beautifully finished with an en-suite shower room with a good shower (I like a shower with a bit of oomph). I was particularly impressed by the guest fridge,...

Lovely, helpful hosts who share their beautiful home. Perfect location in a quiet residential area only minutes from the town and castle. The rooms are very high quality and the cooked breakfasts were excellent, using local ingredients and produce. There is a nice garden area with plenty if space for outside seating. Tom and Audrey encourage birds to come and...

I stayed for two nights in the twin room in July. Audrey and Tom were extremely welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was very comfortable and although the bathroom was small there was everything you would expect from a four star accomodation and more. Breakfast in the conservatory room, looking out over their beautiful garden, was delightful. The food was delicious...

What a reception, what hosts, what a B&B and what a location. Booked into Greycroft for weekend for Jessie J concert which was cancelled whilst travelling up - Tom and Audrey soon helped our daughters get over their disappoinment (thank-you) with the fantastic warm reception, it was like coming home after a trip away. Family Room was beautiful and spacious...

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Tom and Audrey were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. We could not believe all the 'extras' such as complimentary sherry and mead from Lindisfarne! There was also a guest fridge on the landing which contained complimentary bottled water and ice. Guests could also...

Greycroft is a beautiful house with a lovely warm feeling to it. Beautifully presented with all the touches of staying in someone's home - sweets on the table in the lounge along with sherry and lindisfarne mead, fruit bowl to pick from on your way down the stairs, bottles of water and ice in the guests fridge. We stayed in...

This B&B was excellent and we rated it one of the best on our 6 week tour of Ireland , Scotland and England. Tea , coffee etc . on arrival was a welcoming touch. The bedroom ( red room ) was roomy and had a comfortable bed and the bathroom had a great shower. Fantastic breakfasts. Audrey and Tom were...

We travel all over the world and are quite fussy about the rooms we stay in. We can say unequivocally that Audrey and Tom and Greycroft provided us with a perfectly luxurious stay with no detail missed. We stayed in the Green Room, which was large and airy, with plenty of windows, a very comfortable bed, and a nice sofa...
