Just come back from a lovely overnight stay at the White Swan hotel in Alnwick ......DBB deal including a bottle of Prosecco, was worth every penny. Food was beautiful..Olympian restaurant is beautiful and the calming background music was very welcomed.... staff were very friendly and nothing was a bother to them. At the moment the hotel is undergoing some refurbishment,...

Let me start by saying how brilliant the staff are here. They were always responsive, well informed and seemed happy to see us at each and every encounter. We booked in for their Valentine's event, staying a total of 3 nights. The hotel is pretty much in the heart of Alnwick, allowing easy exploration of the area. There is parking...

Stayed with partner for one night. Very quiet but this didn't matter as it was January and to be expected. Room was clean and fine with prosecco included. Ideal location for Alnwick garden. Lovely breakfast evening meal was beautiful. Service was excellent. In particular from Louise who seemed to be running the place. Would stay again for the price £99...

We booked for 1 night and were upgraded to the Alnwick suite which was a beautIful room. As part of the deal we were given a bottle of Prosecco in the room. Dinner and breakfast were provided in the very impressive Olympic dining room. All meals were first class and the service given by both Louise and Carl could not...

From initial contact to book the short stay, to departure, all staff were friendly attentive and accommodating to all our requests. The room was spacious and the upgrade was a pleasant surprise(Walkworth Suite).Although the room overlooked the high street this did not pose any issue for us. The food was excellent and service while attentive was not intrusive. Special mention...

We stayed here on Saturday night and the room was fine (although in need of a lick of paint), the meal in the Bistro was quite good, and the breakfast in the incredible Olympic Suite was adequate if not great (flabby bacon, burned microwaved sausage). All fine and a little disappointing, but not entirely unexpected for a modest High Street...

Dear Reviewer, Many thanks for your review. whilst i appreciate some of the more positive comments i apologize that not all aspects of your stay where satisfactory. All ok ...ish. Nice welcome, room ok, good breakfast in the Olympic room...however, needed a sat nav to get to our room...definitely not for the less able. Room a little chilly, window filthy. Just needs a little TLC.

Stayed here in December while attending an evenings wedding reception. First impressions were not too great as I drove through the arch into the small crowded car park. Luckily there is a car park behind the hotel, although this is not secure and makes for an even longer walk to the hotel entrance, more so when you have a few...
