18 of us stayed at The Hog's Head this weekend for a special family birthday and we loved this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly (shoutout to Gary and the other 2 guys who were working over the Saturday into Sunday!). The rooms were really spacious, modern and comfy with lovely bathrooms. The hotel has free wifi and the restaurant/bar...

We called here for lunch (Sat 4th March), family of 4. Absolutely loved it and will definitely be calling again. Lovely place, very clean, fabulous deco, good quality reasonable priced food. Also, good outdoor play area for children which is always a bonus. Friendly staff and great service - thank you!

Enjoyed a two night stay at the Hogs Head on a very reasonable winter offer rate for dbb. The room was modern, clean, and well appointed, with iron and board already included (saving having to track a member of staff down) the only minor mark against was the lack of a toilet brush. The on-site food was of a high...

We have stayed at the Hog's Head a number of times and always found it to be a clean, friendly place. The food available from the bar has always been of good quality and decent portion size. The buffet breakfast was very enjoyable. The hotel is in an excellent position to allow you to explore the area, and has ample...

Plenty of parking, ideal location. The bedroom was surprising big and very comfortable. We stayed for the breakfast and dinner deal. Breakfast was a bit "mass produced" and on the warm side, the fruit was old and past its sell by date. If you ask for scrambled they do make that fresh so at least we had a full belly...

Visited my sister who is an Alnwick local, she recommended The Hogs Head for a nice evening meal. Was not disappointed, staff were friendly, food was great and at reasonable prices. The area itself is easy to get to, nicely done out with plenty of spaces to park.

Three trips in a month, first on a Monday lunch, lovely pork, black pudding and haggis sandwich with chips and well dressed salad, impressed. A Sunday carvery beckoned, very tasteless, chewy meat.Bare footed kids running wild, not the best place for no shoes with glasses everywhere and if the tables are knocked drinks are expensive to replace. A final trip yesterday...
