Wow, we couldn't have chosen a more comforting, relaxing and welcoming place to stay. Philly welcomed us with a glass of wine and we sat and relaxed by the wood burning fire in the lounge. Philly had also previously recommended where we could eat in Alnwick and that was spot-on as well. The room was very welcoming with mince pies...

Absolutely beautiful B&B, the service was first class and the rooms were spotlessly clean. The breakfast was beautiful with loads of choice I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone who is looking to visit Alnwick it's in an ideal location.

I cannot fault this place. We were welcomed by Philly who was the perfect host. We arrived to mince pies in our room. The whole place is beautifully decorated and because it was Christmas there was a lovely tree and Christmas music. When we arrived Philly offered us a drink an we sat by the fire in the guest living...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night in mid December. The B and B was absolutely perfect. Beautifully done and our room was extremely comfortable. Philly couldn't do more for us and looked after us in every detail. Breakfast was excellent and the general atmosphere of the place was very warm and welcoming. Would recommend this B and...

Beautiful accommodation that I would thoroughly recommend. I am not a great lover of BxB's because of past experiences but this was definitely in a different league. Spotlessly clean. Owner was friendly, welcoming and warm! Nothing was too much trouble. Had tea/drink on arrival with homemade biscuits, tea facilities in the room with home made cake. Rooms were very well...

The accommodation lived up to expectation on the basis of previous reviews. The farmhouse was not as far out of the town as we had imagined. If reasonably fit you could walk into town for an evening out. Alnwick is a fascinating place. A personal favourite is Barter Books.

Beautiful & tastefully decorated place with great attention to detail. Host - Philly makes you feel very welcome and is good host. Tea/coffee tray in room has loads of extras such as jar of cookies, bottle of water with rosemary, hot choc sachets etc. Breakfasts are fabulous and good choices. Location very good for A1, Alnwick and surrounding restaurants. If...
