Beautiful accommodation that I would thoroughly recommend. I am not a great lover of BxB's because of past experiences but this was definitely in a different league. Spotlessly clean. Owner was friendly, welcoming and warm! Nothing was too much trouble. Had tea/drink on arrival with homemade biscuits, tea facilities in the room with home made cake. Rooms were very well... More

The accommodation lived up to expectation on the basis of previous reviews. The farmhouse was not as far out of the town as we had imagined. If reasonably fit you could walk into town for an evening out. Alnwick is a fascinating place. A personal favourite is Barter Books.

Beautiful & tastefully decorated place with great attention to detail. Host - Philly makes you feel very welcome and is good host. Tea/coffee tray in room has loads of extras such as jar of cookies, bottle of water with rosemary, hot choc sachets etc. Breakfasts are fabulous and good choices. An excellent B & B close to Alnwick and the A1. A beautiful barn conversion, tastefully furnished with lovely en-suite bedrooms, only topped by the warmth of the welcome and fabulous breakfasts. You would do very well to find any better. Well done Philly. Can't wait to return.

From the warm welcome on arrival, through to the beautifully appointed rooms and the excellent and varied breakfasts, Redfoot Lea is hard to beat. Some lovely touches in the rooms, such as flavoured mineral water and great biscuits enure that Redfoot Lea stands out from the rest!

One of the two best guest houses i have ever stayed in. Very friendly owners who really made you feel welcome. The accommodation was very luxurious and in addition to having our own room we also had full access to a lovely lounge area. I will be returning next year
