The first time we ate here it was quite nice but after visiting a second time I was very disappointed, the food was awful and the staff seemed like they could not be bothered and didn't want to be there

Excellent carvery tender turkey and lamb potato skins to start. Very friendly and helpful staff. Busy so to go into resturant need to book. Gluten free gravy and vegetables cooked without butter if requested. Nothing too much trouble.
Just returned from two nights on a cricket tour with a group of 20. We stayed Sunday and Monday night and The Oaks was an ideal venue. Rooms were spot on. Excellent beer, great breakfasts and dinner. Thanks for looking after us!
