Delightful hotel on the edge of Bamburgh with splendid sea and countryside views. Delicious home cooked breakfast with free range eggs and locally sourced products. Superb dinner with fantastic fish dishes. Comfortable rooms and great service - well worth a visit but do book!

We visited for dinner and the food was wonderful. We were impressed with the choice of whisky, gin and wine, and enjoyed our choices of these immensely. The prices were not cheap, but this place was a wonderful treat and we would return on any special occasion when in the area.

We had visited Bamburgh to see the castle and were looking for somewhere for lunch. We passed the usual teashops and kept walking. The Mizzen Head is not the easiest place to find but well worth it. The restaurant is very smart and modern. Essentially a fish restaurant, I had scampi and my wife, the cod. Both meals very enjoyable...

We stayed for 2 nights for a wedding. The rooms are very nicely decorated and comfortable. My only negative about the accommodation was that the doors are quite hard to close, so need a bit of force, which means you can hear some of the other doors in the B&B being closed. I can't comment on the quality of the...

Visited the Mizen Head with my wife last night. Terrific food, attentive staff, nice setting, but a little expensive. All of the food was good quality, and well presented. If anything, Veg a little too under cooked for our liking. Perfect for our Anniversay treat. Will be back againin soon.

As a family we have now visited the Mizen Head a number of times for lunch including Sunday lunch, if you are in the area and it is lunch time then get yourself in there. It is a lovely fresh atmosphere, the food is delightful, the choice of seafood is wonderful and the sirloin of beef on a Sunday should...
