This is how every B&B should be - we were given a lovely warm welcome from Val and offered a much needed cup of coffee and slice of cake on arrival. The room was exceptionally clean, a lovely sized twin room, comfy beds and besuited facilities. Breakfast was of a high standard. Belford is a stones throw from the A1...

Just had a three night stay with Val and Dave, they were excellent hosts and Belford is a perfect base for the area, quiet but friendly. The rooms benefit from having a settee to sit on and you are welcome to stay in your rooms should the weather turn unfriendly. Highly recommended.

Stayed for 2 nights. Val and Dave very welcoming, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Room and ensuite was stylish with lots of little touches to make you feel at home. Breakfast was lovely as was the offer offer a wee dram before bed. Parking is easy on a quiet street.

This was my second visit in two years. Again I received a warm welcome and a very comfortable room on the ground floor - with a full-size sofa as well as a comfortable bed in the room. It was good to have a plentiful supply of toiletries in the bathroom, rather than the few individual tiny bottles offered in a...

We stayed here for one night after finding it was in the vicinity for visiting both Holy Island and Bamburgh. Tea/coffee and cake in the dining room was immediately offered to us and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The ground floor room had double bed, a sofa, TV, toiletries, large shower cubicle, hairdryer, tea/coffee/biscuits, mini fridge, iPod dock,...

Had a lovely 3 nights here. Friendly welcome with the offer of a cup of tea and piece of cake, just what's needed after a long journey. Everywhere spotlessly clean and nothing too much trouble. The owners go over and above with their local knowledge of places to visit, local pubs and restaurants etc. The breakfast ingredients are all locally...

Lovely couple and we had a nice stay.only problem was the rooms are very dated and shabby especially the bathrooms. But over all a nice stay. Food was lovely and the village needs cleaning up but we enjoyed using the b&b a base.

We have no record of anyone of your name having stayed at our B and B. Your description of both our property and our lovely village bears no resemblance to either. We have contacted Tripadvisor as we can only conclude you have confused us with another property (and village!). Your review ,as you can see, is dramatically different to any...

Great breakfast. The sofa in the room was a bonus for relaxing and watching tv rather than sitting on the bed. Great hosts. This is an ideal location as a base for touring Northumberland. The welcome tea and cake was very appreciated.
