My wife and i accompanied a couple we know to a weekend break here to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Booked in on 26/11/16 and were led to a really nice double room. The room was lovely, well decorated and very cosy looking, it was also well heated despite cold weather. Flat screen TV and hair drier along with tea and... More

Popped by and glad I chose this location not to central so very quite. I use my car but was able to walk 10 mins into town. Sorry I missed the restaurant but as a result cannot say how good it was. Family run so service is spot on and cannot do more to help you

Wonderful comfy clean rooms we were in room 1, Ian apologised for the small bathroom but it was adequate and with the sink in the room it worked well for us. 5star breakfast with everything you could wish for and only a short walk from town highly recommended

Last minute overnight trip to Berwick-Upon-Tweed , would highly recommend this hotel, room was spotless and very comfortable , tea and coffee making facilities in the room and even bottles of water. Toiletries provided for anything you have forgotten.

We enjoyed two nights here in a spacious double room with a particularly comfy bed. We liked that there was a generous amount of tea & coffee sachets in the room - a pleasant touch. The room was very clean, however, the soundproofing is noticeably lacking (the only negative point). The hosts were friendly without being overbearing & they served... More

Nice little place and a good stopover for 1 night. Made to feel welcome. Best breakfast on our whole weeks tour round Scotland, Northumberland and North Yorks coast. Nice bar on an evening and also a restaurant for evening meals with a decent list of choices. Room was spotlessly clean and had a good view across the estuary but our... More

Booked for one night in internet as playing golf locally en route to Scotland. When first pulled up outside was a trifle concerned as the building seemed rather drab ............ BUT upon venturing in we received a warm welcome from the host couple who were friendly and provided great ale and great food. The room also was comfortable and more... More

Needed a one night stopover and chose the Rob Roy Hotel. Turned out to be a good choice, nice clean room and a decent freshly cooked breakfast in the morning. Just a few minutes walk away from a couple of decent ale houses.

We were immediately made to feel really welcome and at home. The rooms are large, decorated beautifully and are very clean and tidy. Thoughtful extra touches like fruit tea bags, good quality biscuits and also nice toiletries in the bathroom all added to the welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was nicely cooked, with a good choice and plenty to eat. We were... More

We had a lovely friendly welcome and were shown to a clean, well appointed, comfy & spacious room. Plenty of tea bags, coffee sachets, milk & cream! The bed was extremely comfy and provided a good, quiet nights sleep. Breakfast was plentiful with good choice of cereal, excellent cooked breakfast and plenty of coffee or tea. The walk across the...
