I'm reminded of the Danish concept of 'hygge' the cozy comfort taking pleasure from the presence of soothing things. We stayed in #4 which is the essence of hyggelich where every detail is designed to help the traveller unwind.

We booked a last minute break, and this boutique hotel came with good reviews.
First time in a boutique hotel but won't be the last. The room was so interesting and comfortable. The service was excellent. Breakfast served in your room was delicious.

I politely disagree with the previous answer; the owner was incredibly rude, petulant and aggressive. Worst experience I've ever had staying anywhere, ever (with regards to the owner, the bedrooms themselves are actually really pretty), but I don't like to be met with such an offensive and borderline intimidating attitude. This is just my experience though.

It was called Sallyport but after the owner showed herself up on 3 in a bed, and being outright rude, offensive, immature and a sore loser, I suspect the name was changed to hide the terrible truth- the owner is a nightmare
