My friend and I booked for a pamper day at the spa within Beacon Hill Farm. We had a lovely time. We were given our own relaxation room complete with tea and coffee making facilities, magazines and great view! The morning was given over to the gym, swimming pool, sauna etc. Very impressed by level of facilities. After a very...

We stayed in newly completed shepherd's hut. It was an exquisite place to stay, with exceptional care given to every aspect of design and comfort. The hut was spacious, well laid out and had a particularly comfortable double bed which was adjoining window offering lovely views across the fields. Every amenity is catered for with a real log burner and...

Bluegrass was the perfect location for our winter weekend break. We spent two nights there last week and would have loved to stay longer. Every detail was perfect when we arrived with the wood burner already lit, fresh flowers and wine waiting and there was even a sprinkling of snow on the ground! The hut's rooms are stylish and comfortable...

Recommended by a friend, we stayed at the lovely shepherd's hut for 3 nights! The charming hut has everything you need for a cosy stay and spa facilities are definitely worth a visit! Finished to a high standard, it's clean &warm, all you need after a wander in Northumberland! We'll definitely come back!

Beautiful beacon hill! There was a group of 10 of us staying in Beech and Ash cottages over the new year weekend. In picturesque surroundings, cottages were lovely and facilities were great which made for a perfect break and would highly recommend to anyone! Thanks Alun and Chris for your hospitality

Stayed here with my parents, brother, husband and 2 very young children (just turned 3 and 11 months) between 28th Dec and 4th Jan and had such a wonderful time. The cottages are beautiful, very well equipped with all mod cons (sky tv, well equipped kitchen, ensuites, underfloor heating etc) but thanks to decor and the log burners they still...

A group of us recently stayed here for an NYE getaway. Our cottage was spacious enough to accommodate six of us and provided us with some great views of the local countryside. Speaking of which, the farm is the starting point of some great walks including a lovely stroll around Lake Meg. A spar, swimming pool and an observatory are...

In September 2016 we had a second visit to Beacon Hill, and we enjoyed it even more than the first time (if that's possible!) We loved Merlin Cottage - its comforts, space and light. (One of the essentials for us when booking a holiday cottage is a property which has large windows. We have found that converted farm buildings tend...

A very well presented cottage furnished to a very high standard. Very warm in winter with a great fire and good heating. Modern bathrooms were all good. Alun and his team could not have been more helpful with their local knowledge and customer care. We thoroughly enjoyed using the spa which had great swimming pool facilities, saunas and jacuzzis etc...
