We ate in the beer garden in the sun. Views were amazing. We could see Holy Island, the Farnes and Bamburgh Castle. We only stopped for lunch. Real chips and good baguettes. Roast meat of the day with a dish of gravy for dipping is highly recommended.

Travelled 300 miles looking forward to 4 relaxing nights which we paid £656 for a double room with sea view…..quaint adequate room with small window but checked out after 3 nights due to stifling heat in the room. We had to keep an electric fan whirring all night but can honestly say we did not get one nights decent rest. We think we were above the kitchen which made our room unbearably stuffy even in mid October. The food is average but pricey. I had to send my risotto back as it was more like wallpapers paste but also very expensive. Loved visiting all the historical places but if we ever re-visit the area will find alternative accommodation

Dog friendly, limited menu but food was good. Friendly staff. Fantastic views. Easy to book on line and it is advised to book as full most nights we visited. Very central in Seahouses and rooms available at good rates.

Great location overlooking the harbour, pleasant enough inside, pleasant and polite staff and dog friendly, but unfortunately that is where the "good" ends and the money making factory begins. A pint of fairly ordinary low gravity real ale was £4.75. My partner had veggie burger and I the steak and stout pie. Veggie burger was clearly bought in, served in a "supermarket" bun with a bit of lettuce and a few chips, at £14.95. Steak pie was at least a proper pie (pastry all round) but had clearly been microwaved- pastry flacid and without colour, and the not very extensive filling overcooked, with the chunks of steak mostly reduced to strands of fibre. Gravy was decent and the veggies also nicely cooked, but very disappointing for £16.95. Would not recommend.
