Room was clean and serviced daily. 9 bedrooms and car parking for 9 cars. Attentive staff and personal welcome from Rob and Tegan. Nice cooked breakfast - not surprising as the catering and waiting on staff are the same as employed for the generously portioned evening bistro. Bistro needs to be booked many weeks in advance.

We had a wonderful meal on the 12th September 2021 and particularly enjoyed the a la carte tapas menu. We especially enjoyed the French onion soup. The staff are so very friendly & welcoming and we have never had a bad experience! Highly recommended

This is our 2nd year in a row visiting St. Aidan, and yet again we were met with the most wonderfully warm welcome, unmatched hospitality, and a bright, comfortable room with a gorgeous view of the North Sea. The hotel is perfectly placed to enjoy Seahouses, and other local attractions such as Lindisfarne and the rest of Northumberland. After staying in Little Scarcar last year, we decided to go for the slightly bigger Megstone room, and the only grumble we had was that as it is on the bottom floor, we did not want the window open as people often walk past. This is purely a personal preference, and would not be an issue for anyone that is not intending on spending too much time in the room. Breakfast was amazing - tasty, fresh, and served with a smile! Can’t wait to join you in 2022, and our family, who came for dinner in the Bistro, are going to be stopping by for a visit with you soon, so it isn’t just us that you have impressed! Thanks Rob and Lisa - an exceptional stay once again!

Had a horrendous start to our holiday and almost cancelled - however I’m so glad we didn’t. We stayed in the annex with beautiful sea views; the sunrises and sunsets are hauntingly beautiful. Everything was super clean and this hotel is the perfect spot. We could walk into Seahouses in less than 5 minutes and it’s an easy walk up the incredible beach to Bamburgh. Breakfasts are delicious. Try the smoked haddock with perfectly poached eggs… All the staff are wonderful but bonus points to Lisa who was super kind and helpful during our emergency. And double bonus points to Daniel who was as charming, warm and knowledgeable as a friend. Simply lovely!

This is probably the best place to stay in Seahouses, location just a short walk from the harbour, rooms are a good size with great views, excellent breakfast and spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would also recommend the Bistro as well. The hotel (B&B) and Bistro are a bit on the pricey side compared to other places but well worth it if you want quality. Would we stay there again...you bet, it's the first place I would try next time we are up in the area.
