Perfect accommodation in a perfect location. The spotlessly clean cottage has everything needed for a comfortable stay and plenty for the kids even in wet weather. The host has thought of everything that might be needed - including washing machine and dryer in the utility room and a dishwasher in the kitchen. The cottage sleeps 5 easily and there is...

A wonderful cottage in a spectacular location - a real home from home. I don't think there must be too many better views when doing your washing up! \We were welcomed with a tray of baked goodies and a laid fire ready to be lit. The cottage was spotless and the beds really comfortable. Our toddler was delighted with the...

Very relaxing holiday, lovely cottage, did a lot of sight seeing, over the week. The only thing is that the cottage wasn't well signposted. for someone who has not been before it takes some finding. we had been before (14yrs) ago and we had an idea where it was.

Beautiful cottage, secluded but close enough to visit places such as bamburgh and cragside hall. Warm welcome including home made brownies which were delicious. Perfect break to get away from a busy life, thank you Hugh and Margaret.

Fantastic experience from the wonderful welcome with a tray of home-made cakes to the well equipped, spotlessly clean, comfortable cottage itself. Well thought out and so peaceful with everything you need for a totally relaxing break. Will definitely be back - highly recommend 😃😃

The cottage we stayed in was clean, well equipped and a home from home. The children enjoyed watching the birds visiting the garden, especially the woodpecker. Margaret and Huw were very welcoming and recommended places to visit. We would definitely stay there again if we holiday in the area in future.

A clean, comfortable, family cottage with a warm welcome from the owners next door. The cottage is in a lovely area great for walkers, cyclists or beach lovers. We saw deer, hares, birdlife and the sky is magic on a clear night.

A very comfortable cottage, well equipped and as the weather was quite cold, the central heating was a big bonus. Hugh and Margaret were welcoming, friendly and helpful. For those looking for a quiet stay - it was first class - well away from traffic etc.

Thank you for your kind review. May of our guests comment that they rarely hear any traffic noise at all making Fenton Hill a very peaceful and quiet place to stay. The birdsong instead can be very beautiful especially in the evenings at this time of year and the dark skies without any light pollution are another bonus of this...

Cottage in peaceful surroundings, views to Goatscrag and over countryside. The cottage is very well equipped and furnished to a very good standard - lots of games for adults and children and local information , well kept enclosed garden for children and pets. Wonderful walks from the cottage in surrounding countryside. Good position for visiting coast or inland .

Thank you for your kind review. Fenton Hill is a wonderful peaceful and tranquil place ideal for rest, recuperation and refreshment. The views all around and walks from the cottage enhance that experience for our visitors. We've added games for those family times by the fire in the autumn and winter or for times relaxing in the cottage. The enclosed...

John & I both enjoyed our stay at Fenton Hill Farm cottages from 20th-27th June, despite the weather at the end. We have been doing an annual walking week for more years than I can remember, and this has to be one of the most comfortable cottages that we have stayed over the 25 years we have been doing this...

Thank you for your kind review. The comfort of our guests is very important to us and we try to add little extras to enhance that. Being on hand we try to keep the cottage as one that we would like to stay in ourselves. Our guests have often stated that Crab-Apple Cottage is in their experience one of the...
