Visited here 3 weeks ago for my birthday as only up the road from me. The food was excellent with good portion size but only down side was the service as very slow. Must be because several parties were in but felt very neglected regarding the taking of orders for food & drinks & long wait. However went yesterday for...

Our quiz team chose the Redbrick house restaurant to have one of our meals to spend our winnings, and I am glad we did. We turned up at 12 o’clock for our lunch and we were one of the first people in. We were greeted and a table for 5 quickly sorted. There were several specials on the blackboard and...

This is a small hotel, with the rooms in the original redbrick farmhouse. The staircase and room doors still seem to be original but inside the rooms there is no indication you are in an older building. Room was quite large and everywhere very clean. I had the feeling I was staying in somebody's guest room rather than a hotel...

The plates were hot and the vegetables plentiful. The staff were very pleasant and efficient and we had an excellent...

Hello, with regards to the cd player we do apologise for this being missing. The maintenance man had trouble with getting BBC 1 & BBC 2 on the TV set and replaced it with another TV not realising the one he had replaced had a built in cd player .Unfortunately it was not picked up till a week later and...

Returned recently from a relaxing break in a genuine log cabin or lodge. Not one of those that advertise a log cabin stay and is actually a chalet/ caravan! Fabulous open plan area, with under floor heating, and all amenities, set in natural woodland. The luxury of relaxing in a hot tub, 'listening' to the peace and quiet, then returning...

This was booked through Hoseasons. We stayed in Sherwood Lodge. The lodge was lovely and spacious with 3 bedrooms - one large upstairs with ensuite bathroom and walk in wardrobe. Downstairs there were 2 bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds and a bathroom with a shower. The kitchen was large - equipped...
