The day before we were to arrive we received a friendly phone call to confirm if we were still coming. We booked for a vegetarian breakfast which the 'chief staff and bottle washer' provided with a smile. Room was very clean and and bathroom newly fitted. Easy walking distance form town center.

Very good room and excellent breakfast only issues were road noise and pressure on shower. We not used to road noise. Very welcoming and helpful. Ample room for parking. All of our requirements were there

Clean and exactly what was required! Bed, shower, kettle, biscuits! Les was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much bother and I'm sure I became a pain in the proverbial with all my questions/taxi bookings etc! Would definitely stay again when in the area. Great choices for breakfast too!

Stayed here whilst catching up with some friends in Dinnington. The owner went above and beyond on assisting us, recommending taxi numbers, advice on where and where not to drink, even helping defrosting my friends car. The room was slightly dated but was immaculately clean, the shower was fantastic and so was the breakfast! Definitely stay here again! Really lovely...

Having never stayed in a Guest House, I was daunted by the prospect. However, I am very happy to report that despite being a little noisy due to traffic it was a very good experience. The room was very clean, bed very comfortable, service very friendly and professional and breakfast very good! Excellent value for money!

My boyfriend and I just stayed for 1 night for a wedding and were pleased with the service we received. Owners were friendly and helpful, room was simple but pleasant and clean, full English breakfast was very nice (cooked fresh - not the lukewarm/congealed kind you might get in a lot of places!) - we would go back if we...

Stayed Sat night before the Flashbck festival - early check-in was very handy. The room was clean and well presented. The breakfast in the dining room the next morning was enjoyable. It was the helpfulness of the owners that really made this stay for us so enjoyable - top marks for literally going the extra mile to help us out...

Husband and I had a very pleasant stay at Acorn Lodge . We found it to be very comfortable. Les could not have been more helpful and cooked a superb English breakfast. Les also gave us good advice about local pubs we would recommend the Anchor for pub food. We will definitely stay again. Anne and Chris Charlton.
