I often go to The Kings Head for a drink or five with my friends and it is always amazing. There is a brilliant atmosphere with really friendly staff and affordable prices. I would chose the kings head over any local pub any day.

We stayed in this pub for a wedding weekend of friends and it was such a lovely experience. The pub is very cute, traditional, cozy and welcoming. The staff is so nice. The pub has a great selection of beers. The hotel is small, with very well equipped rooms, comfortable beds and all necessary amenities. Its very quiet and we...

Thanks to the team for making our stay special! We were a large family group (19 altogether) staying 2 nights, and we were able to have exclusive use of the end room the first night , and the restaurant the second night. The evening meals and breakfasts were exceptional, tasty and beautifully presented, and we appreciated the lovely touches like...

We stayed for two nights at The Kings Head after being given some gift vouchers for our wedding. It was charming pub with rooms attached. We stayed in the outer buildings which were tasteful decorated with all the mod cons. Food was delicious and staff were incredibly friendly particularly on the Sunday night that we stayed.

The King's Head Inn is a charming place with a few local walks and nearby Stow to keep you occupied. Unfortunately the weather only allowed us to complete one walk during our stay. The service and friendliness of the staff at the King's Head was exceptional from when we first arrived until we left after our two night stay. This...

I have nothing but positive comments about this lovely B&B. We stayed at part of a short break to the Cotswolds and this was certainly a highlight. We had a dinner, B&B package and the food was excellent. Our evening meal in the restaurant area was without doubt one of the nicest meals I have ever eaten. After dinner we...

Wonderful few days. Glorious food, all the staff were lovely, friendly & helpful & looked after us so generously. We were also made to feel welcome by Archie Orr Ewing, the owner & noticed the easy relationships between him & his staff. Comfortable room & dogs made welcome. It was lovely to see familiar faces again both in the pub...

Great location for a quiet break, great room we stayed in a courtyard room on a free upgrade (very acceptable!) - food was good although a rather limited menu, disappointed no food was available when we returned at 14.15 from one of the great walks around the area had to settle for packet of crisps and peanuts expected a bit...

Breakfast was the highlight and was really enjoyable. The room was comfortable and the Nespresso machine was a nice touch. From what I'd read I'd expected more of a foodie experience at dinner. It was fine but not the gastro experience I'd hoped for (I've had some really excellent meals at 'gastro' pubs). We had the choice of eating in...

We stayed here for seven days whilst visiting family and searching the area for a new house. All of the food we had at breakfast, lunch or dinner was very tasty and well presented. The staff are very helpful, friendly and attentive even when the bar got busy. Good selection of beer and wine on offer. The room we stayed...
