A family meal with 6 adults on a Saturday evening. Attractive pub/restaurant, good range of beers and a wide selection on the menu. I had the fish and chips which came with tartare sauce at £12.50, The fish had a crispy batter and was cooked perfectly. Everyone enjoyed their main courses and the various desserts were all enjoyed. The room...

This was the first time we had been to The Lamb Inn and we found it was a delightful pub with friendly staff and good food. The Menu made for a good read with plenty of choice and the Chef did not let us down. As we had chosen the pub we were pleased our friends approved of our choice.

Stayed here for three nights whilst visiting friends. Warm welcome on arrival. Lovely room with windows to side and front. Quiet apart from birdsong. The breakfasts were amazing ! Perfect eggs crispy around the edges and tasty local sausages. Cooked by an expert chef who checked lol was well. A wonderful place to visit. The Flemmings.

A family gathering of three generations for Sunday lunch. Delightful setting, welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and an excellent meal. So good that we all managed three courses, and none disappointed. Booking is clearly essential, such is the Lamb's popularity. Just a pity we all live over 60 miles away but will be be back if we have the opportunity. The...

We only live 3 miles away but this place passed us by until last Friday, 17th March 2017 and to be fair it could pass a lot of people by being hidden away as it is in the village of Buckland set well off the main A420 road. Everything a village pub / restaurant should be. Eat in either the...

We had two nights here last week, having found it on Alistair Sawday's website. It's hard not to exaggerate how lovely this place is. It is run by husband and wife team Richard and Shelly, ably assisted by friendly and knowledgeable bar staff. Johnnie in particular is worthy of a pat on the back. On arrival at lunchtime, after a...

Stayed on a Saturday night in December and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a lovely comfortable room. There were Christmas parties in the restaurant and bar and so it was very busy but we received excellent service and the food was very good. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

We went there today for lunch after 20 miles cycling and didn't have reservation (please do it in advance! - kind advice). Luckily we managed to get a table and we ordered a fish and chips, pork sausages with meal and pheasant and all of this was perfect! Staff was very friendly, place nice, warm and welcoming. I can suggest...

We stayed here overnight whilst house hunting. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed and completely at home. We had our 10 month daughter with us and the travel cot was already set up with clean sheets and blankets. We had a table booked for supper with was truly excellent - and this despite the main chef being...

We visited this restaurant/ pub for its lunch menu and were not disappointed. Beautifully prepared food and served well at a reasonable price, in a lovely restaurant. The pie was very meaty and the fish main, very fresh. Excellent.
