We saved the best till last. The entrance is lovely and we went inside for a cocktail. They were great although at £13 each not cheap. But this was never going to be a budget night out. We elected for the 4 course Thai menu and all of it was amazing. We also had a bottle of wine and two...

This our second stay at The Crazy Bear and different suite each time., Suite 1 better as in the hotel and no noisey neighbours Suite 6 more funky but noisier and not actually in the Hotel. Great pics of the infinity bath which filled from the ceiling !

The Crazy Bear is tucked away in Stadhampton, Oxfordshire just a few miles from the M40. It is quite wacky and has its own farm shop and small farm alongside the hotel and restaurant. We came for the set lunch.I had the chateaubriand steak with field mushrooms and duck egg on sourdough as a starter and my wife the lobster.She...

My Mum and I have always wanted to go to the Crazy Bear due to such high recommendations from friends and afternoon tea sounded like the perfect opportunity. The restaurant and bar were certainly impressive and lived up to the reputation of being sumptuous and intriguing, however looking slightly tired and could do with a refresh with the decorating. The...

My wife bought me voucher for an overnight stay as a treat but, having called the Hotel to book the room, we were told that they are fully booked between now and the end of the year. What's more when asked what to do next we've been told that we have to pay a fee to extend the validity of...

We stayed here for a wedding and while it is by no means the cheapest hotel you could stay in, the rooms were incredibly luxurious and unique. I loved the bathroom - really modern and well appointed with great amenities. Unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to use the bath in the bedroom but if you are going away for...

We didnt stay, but had a Thai meal. The room was amazing although rather warm, the waiter did put the aircon on But the food was fantastic, quite e pensive and it.is probably somewhere I would go for a treat or special occasion. The decor is unique and well worth a visit.

We had a "deluxe"room which was fairly small, but not too bad a size. The main problem was that it was so very dark and dismal! Walls were black! The lighting was so bad that you had to keep very tidy, or you would trip over things. The only place that you could see to get ready for dinner was...

A Joke! We booked this for our wedding anniversary. Very disappointed, all gimmick and no substance. The room we booked seemed fine at first glance, but totally impractical, and you end up frustrated! Impossible to put make up on, no light no plug close by to dry hair which was also impossible because of the dimmed lighting, even the bathroom...
