We had a "deluxe"room which was fairly small, but not too bad a size. The main problem was that it was so very dark and dismal! Walls were black! The lighting was so bad that you had to keep very tidy, or you would trip over things. The only place that you could see to get ready for dinner was...

A Joke! We booked this for our wedding anniversary. Very disappointed, all gimmick and no substance. The room we booked seemed fine at first glance, but totally impractical, and you end up frustrated! Impossible to put make up on, no light no plug close by to dry hair which was also impossible because of the dimmed lighting, even the bathroom...

I love this place. The decor is right up my street, the staff are polite, friendly and helpful, the food tastes like I've died and gone to heaven and bonus points for the tasty espresso! Can't wait to come back. Crazy bear, thank you!

The Crazy Bear is a bit like Marmite love it or hate it and we loved it. I think it's important to read the small print and understand what your buying into. Is it expensive? Damned right it is but it's exceptional in terms of decoration and quirkiness. We arrived late and had difficulty finding the car park but we...

Six of us went for a set price lunch a week or so ago and had a really good time with excellent service. Nice linens cutlery and glasses and really delicious food for the most incredibly reasonable price £1495 for two courses and £1995 for three. We will definitely return again next time we are nearby. The only downside was...

Having eaten at the Fitzrovia restaurant, I was extremely excited for my stay at the original crazy bear, but from arrival there was just one thing after another that disappointed me: Terrible sign posting to find the car park. No sign posting for the reception so left wandering around. Room was away from main hotel (Room 10). The room downstairs...

This is an awesome place, really quirky but still classy. I was concerned it may be a bit tacky before arriving but it isn't at all. It is very expensive, but worth it for the experience. We probably wouldn't return (because of the price) as the novelty wouldn't be there. We had a suite (room 7), it is amazing! The...

I booked an overnight stay for myself and my partner for a special birthday. This was booked through a Groupon voucher which gave us an original room, 3 course meal, breakfast and bottle of champagne. It was a lovely stay, very quirky and romantic, set in a lovely part of the country. The room was clean and staff were very...

OMG. I visited on 17th October. What a fantastic place to stay. Right from the moment you checked in, in the old fashioned big red bus, in the car park. The reception was very welcoming and we were given a glass of champagne on the bus, to take to our room. And what a room it was too. Too crazy...

Always wanted to go to the Crazy Bear and who wouldn't! The lavish surroundings, seductive fabrics, and unusual styling definitely gives this place an edge. I was shocked and very excited to see a deal on Groupon as going to a hotel like this isn't cheap. The Groupon included the room (number 16) champagne, dinner (3 courses) and breakfast. On...
