Stayed for 2 nights. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good parking, and great location for sight seeing and walking. Comfortable room, although the view could have been better, as we were located at the rear of the property in room 11. Good sized room and no complaints to think of.

The crown is a lovely remote pub/ restaurant with accommodation. I have read many reviews about the crown, some are good some not so. In most homes there are bits that need repairing and decorating from time to time, hotels can only do these repairs out of season, and the little bits I saw wouldn't ruin my holiday. I like...

Spent two nights B&B with three course meal first evening on a Living Social deal. Nice room, good food, very friendly and helpful staff. The property dates back to the 16th century which is obviously difficult and expensive to maintain. This is an ideal location for walkers and the owners have provided a comprehensive folder of various graded walks. There...

We stayed here for 1 night on Sunday 7th August 2016 using a Wowcher offer. What a bargain it was, the rooms are your typical standard double and perfectly acceptable. The best part of the break was the food, Dinner was lovely and lots to choose from, the other great thing was the staff they were all lovely and helpful...

We have booked many deals through Travelzoo, this hotel was far and above the best.Only fault is cottage rooms are a bit small, but it is an old coaching inn, but full marks to ALL the staff for wonderful pleasant service. Also, considering it was a discount deal to be offered the full menu in restaurant was a nice surprise....

Lovely warm welcome and shown to you rooms which were in a cottage on the side of the carpark. The rooms were spacious, clean and an excellent power shower, the rooms are basic but ideal as a base to explore the surrounding area. The bar area has limited tables which is the only area where you can eat with your...

We spent 2 nights here with a wowcher offer. Our room was a bit shabby and VERY creaky but ok and a comfy bed. We had a 3 course meal on our first night which was actually pretty decent. The bar was very quiet as I think the main customer base is 50+ but that doesn't matter. It's not that...

Booked this hotel directly after seeing it on Wowcher 3 nights £149 they price matched it over the phone with a 3 course evening meal with a bottle of wine on the first night. Room 10 is big and newly carpeted and with a comfortable king size bed. There are very low beams and a very low window with no...

The old Public House building is quaint with uneven floors and low, beamed ceilings. There are 19 rooms, some of them are arranged as terraced cottages along the side of the car park, parallel to the road and at right angles to the old building, The rooms are looking tired and really need a make over. The plumbing is questionable,...

We stopped at this pub for lunch whilst on a short break in Shropshire, it is a sheer delight, ones imagination of the old English put. Ingle nook fire gate and brasses all kept in beautiful condition by what must be very proud owners. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We only had a sandwich but that was great and...
