Come and stay in a peaceful and idyllic location amongst the rolling hills of the south Shropshire countryside. Bush Farm is situated in an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ bordered by Clunton Copice a nature reserve designated as a ‘Site of Special Scientific Interest’. The river Clun meanders past the garden and on through our fields. Sit and relax in the garden or wander by the river and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Gary and I came home yesterday from a weeks stay in the Granary Room at Bush Farm. There wasn't one thing we could complain about. From the warmest of welcomes when we arrived to the beautiful setting, room, breakfast, garden... Pure silence when we listened and total darkness at night. The room was charming and smelt lovely, so clean with the little touches like brollies, binoculars, bottles of water, biscuits to go with the tea/coffee, bedside lamps - no fiddling with switches, you just had to touch them and they came on. A wonderful large powerful shower with little shower gels etc. The breakfast was amazing, Nick cooked a perfect fry up every morning for Gary, and freshly laid poached eggs on toast for me. I also had cereal with plain yogurt and tasty grapefruit and prunes, lovely start to the day. Christina made sure we had enough of everything. We had use of the dining room all day which had a fridge, loads of handy leaflets and use of the the table when we wanted a takeaway. The trip in Nick's trailer to feed the farm animals was a treat. He explained everything to us, the animals names, habits, care

We have just returned from well needed long weekend on Bush farm and wish we could stay much longer . We had an amazing time. Not explored the area much as my daughter wanted to stay on the farm all the time and interact with animals. Amazing hosts - made us feel like it was family visit rather than stay at B&B . Christina kept checking on us and Nick took us around the farm few times and told us interesting stories and facts about each of animals. Thank you so much to you both for making our stay so relaxing and magical. We’ll cherish our memories forever and hope to be back as soon as we can . Breakfast is amazing, rooms very cute and with farmhouse atmosphere, even tea and coffee station is plentiful and somehow very special with organic tea and coffee and delicious selection of biscuits and fresh local milk daily. If you are after the place where your child will have fun and you can read while listening to a quiet whisper of the river ,open the window in the morning to see green fields and hear birds singing , don’t think twice and book

Simply wonderful. What an absolute gem of a find. Christina and Nick are the nicest couple you could ever wish to meet. The warmest welcome followed by my partner and I sat on hay bales in a trailer following a quad bike round the farm to see the animals. I hasten to add we are both well into our 60's. We then had tea and home made sponge cake. Not only this but as it was our anniversary we found a rose bud and the most beautiful card on our pillow. The bed was so comfy and the power shower was brilliant. So much tea coffee drinking chocolate biscuits nuts etc and a jug of milk which could be kept in the fridge in the dining room. Now the breakfast, make sure you are hungry as its the best we have ever had. Usual cereals, yougurt, prunes grapefruit, but the cooked breakfast was simply wonderful, locally sourced sausage and bacon, and eggs laid by their own hens it can't get better than this! There was also mushrooms, tomatoes, black pudding, fried bread and hash browns. Such a peaceful relaxing setting such a shame we were only here 2 nights, like other people have said we never go back a second time for a stay but we certainly will make an exception in this case. Cannot recommend this b and b highly enough.

My wife us severely disabled therefore it was brilliant the bedroom and breakfast room were next door to each other on the ground floor. The breakfast was outstanding. Yummy. Nick even gone to fetch the donkeys for my wife to see. Will definitely go back. Thank you for a marvellous weekend.

Christina and Nick couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The hayloft is very cosy, decorated very tastefully and importantly very clean. Tea and homemade cake were brought to our room which was a lovely welcoming touch and Christina was incredibly knowledgable in answering all our questions about things to do, places to visit and recommended some excellent pubs for food. Breakfast was superb with local sausages and bacon and their own eggs. The location is stunning and both Christina and Nick are excellent hosts. We shall definitely be back!

From our initial 30 second meeting it was clear this was going to be a very special welcoming place . I don t think we've ever meet such lovely people, nothing is too much trouble, just ask would be their motto. Our first tour around was expertly handled by their lovely polite knowledgeable team of granddaughters ( all 3 of them ) . They obviously adore this amazing little haven too and all their beautifully cared for animals, knowing them all by name and character. Our own 3 yr old granddaughter was taken under their wing and immediately made to feel like a little friend. From helping to bottle feed lambs , corn to adorable chickens and sitting atop of gorgeous sweet Barney and the amazingly calm natured giant Oska , our little one had just the best time ever. Nick even delayed feeding time a little so she could finish her nap and then come out to help. As I say above and beyond.... many many thanks. Everything we could of needed was provided and more, lovely touches in the room , snacks, biscuits, cordial sachets . Our room the hayloft was beautiful warm and like a homely hug. Comfy clean fab smelling bed and last but not least but well worth a mention, a fantastic powerful easy to use hot massive shower. Breakfast was fantastic both morning's , circumstances meant nick was day one chef and chris on our last morning but both cooked expertly, delicious local produce with eggs even closer to hand literally outside the front door wherever their gorgeous hens decide to lay. The beautiful surroundings allow for a wonderful relaxing break. Listening to the babbling stream while grandad tries to net a trout lol. All in all can t wait to return next month. Many many thanks for sharing your home with us. Nick and Chris. We will see you soon Mark, Sue and Tiger xxx

We stayed in this charming B&B for 4 nights in the granary room. We took two horses with us who had access to two large stables and a paddock each. Our hosts, Christina and Nick gave us the warmest of welcomes on arrival. When we had settled in the horses and into our room, we had tea and Christina’s delicious homemade sponge as a welcome - we chose to have ours in the garden outside the cottage. Christina and Nick provided us with lots of info about the local riding and eateries. The breakfasts are fabulous and filled us up so much that we didn’t need lunch on any day. We rarely want to go back to the same place twice - there are so many places to see - though we will be making an exception for this little gem and plan to visit again soon.

I should like to concur with all the great things that have been said about Bush Farm in previous reviews. Friendly and caring hosts, beautiful location and grounds, lovely buildings which have been sensitively and attractively converted, delightful animals - Bush Farm has all of these.
I'm going to pick out two details which I think exemplify Bush Farm's excellence. The first is the beautiful garden statues and other features which create an idyllic space in which to sit and are testament to Nick and Christina's eye for creating a welcoming and attractive environment.
The second example is the fact that there were no fewer than 3 boxes of tissues dotted around our accommodation. This to me showed a remarkable insight into what guests really appreciate, as well as Nick and Christina's truly caring ethos!
My partner and I are looking forward to taking the road to Clunton again soon.

Where do I begin?! I wish I could give more stars as Bush Farm was one of the nicest stays me and my partner have ever had. We cannot thank Christina & Nick enough for the most amazing experience.
We stayed in the Hayloft which was beautiful, it felt so homely and cosy but we also felt like the first people that had ever stayed in there, it was gorgeous. Christina gave us some amazing sponge cake and a pot of tea on arrival (a jug of squash for my fussy partner!) They honestly could not do enough for us.
We got to tag along on the feed with Nick both days which was an incredible experience for animal lovers like us! The animals are so well looked after and loved by them both. After the 4pm feed we sat down by the creek with the sun shining to which my partner then proposed, it was the most perfect setting! We then had a meal at The White Horse Inn (Christina booked us a table) and the food was superb. Nick and Christina had bought a card with a wonderful message to our room along with a bottle of prosecco which was so thoughtful.
The following morning we had the most incredible full english with local meats (to die for!) and the most amazing eggs from their chickens, one of the best breakfasts ive had!
Some of our favourite moments were having a sit down and a chat with Nick and Christina. We really felt so welcome and felt like we were visiting friends. We had the most unforgettable, amazing time and we plan on coming back for a yearly visit on our anniversary.

We have had such an idyllic stay on the farm with Nick and Christina. Nothing was too much trouble for our amazing hosts. Every day, Nick took the children on a farm tour to feed the animals, including sitting on the pony and horse, holding ducklings, finding eggs in the straw (and choosing which one the kids wanted cooking for breakfast the next morning!) and riding on the quad bike and in the trailer. Breakfast was delicious every day. The rooms were comfortable, homely and clean. The Hayloft in particular is so pretty and romantic. The local area is beautiful. We will definitely be back!
