We stayed at the Tudor for two nights in January and were made very welcome on our arrival. The room was large with quirky corners and cupboards, with a very comfortable, large bed. Bedding crisp white sheets, room warm. Route to bedroom twisty turny, but that was due to the age of the building. Breakfast very good. Would stay again...

Stayed here for one night only. Very brief stay but found the hotel had everything you need. The room we stayed in was a bit old fashioned but none the worse for that. The bathroom was the opposite to the bedroom in that it was very modern, even down to the shower without a door. Who's bright idea was that....

Friendly service. Very large portions and the food cooked to perfection. Tudor mushrooms great and the gammon with egg and pineapple biggest ever seen. Even asked and got sautéed potatoes (not on the menu). Nothing was too much trouble

Stayed here for 2 nights. Lovely hotel right in the heart of Bridgewater. Fantastic staff who make you feel very welcome. The breakfast is outstanding and the restaurant food is second to none, and very good value for money. The room was of a decent size but beware if you are tall as the ceilings are low. If we visit...

Stayed here x 1 night with family. The building itself is very cute and quirky and higgeldy piggeldy but the room fixtures and fittings are a little dated and the shower etc was a bit wonky. Nevertheless, the service was 10/10 and we really enjoyed our cooked breakfast.

This place is a treasure in a town that has seen better days. There were no pubs worth visiting and we returned here to drink and dine. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and kind. The food (two dinners, both nights) was excellent, with a Cyprus-themed menu and interesting daily specials. The room was a tad tired but adequate and there...

A group of 16 of us booked in for a Sunday Carvery to celebrate someone's birthday, there's plenty of parking available in the area meaning only a short walk to the hotel. On arrival the staff were very friendly and welcoming showing us to the rear courtyard area where some of our group had already gathered; drinks orders were taken...

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago. The rooms themselves are fine, although a bit dark , wardrobes and blinds etc. The bathroom was a good size. What really makes this place is the people. I have to say that all the staff were fantastic and welcoming to everyone. The breakfast was one of the best I have had in...

“This is a 400 year old place so you need to be OK walking up and down stairs. If you're disabled ask about room access. Otherwise, enjoy the idiosyncratic layout!”

“Very good hotel staff really friendly food excellent , we had a room at the front of hotel , 4 poster bed beautiful room but you can expect. Little noise as you are on the high street. Bar attached to hotel really nice and good atmosphere. Would defiantly stay there again and would recommend .”

“Strongly advise that when booking you demand to know which room you will be allocated and demand confirmation that you are not on the uppermost floor and that you have reasonable hot water pressure for showering.”
