The Lighthouse has 30 acres to walk round and a lake that you can fish in. The rooms are very clean, and there is a very good sensation of calm. A restored 17th century manor house, set in the Somerset countryside, it is an ideal place for a quiet stopover. There is a strict no alcohol policy.

We stayed here for 1 night whilst having a weekend away. The room was clean and perfect. Lovely grounds to enjoy a walk round and the breakfast served was brilliant! We would definitely come back again and would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you.

Visited Longleat and we decided to stay locally over night. Booked The Lighthouse based on other positive reviews and glad we did. Room Clean and appears to have been recently decorated to a good standard. Really nice room to stay in and very comfortable. Ours was above the kitchen so we knew breakfast was ready in the morning. Settings Beautiful...

I think this is my first Trip Advisor review, and I was inspired to write it because The Lighthouse was so lovely. A beautiful converted farm/stables building, all very stylish, fantastic mix of old and new architecture and style, lovely modern rooms with clean lines, huge bed, organic teas and coffees. A super cafe/restaurant with delicious healthy food. My daughter...

We chose this place as hubby was diving nearby and we were not disappointed. Having two young children with us the family suite we stayed in worked very well. Our toddler loved the box of toys in the lounge and exploring the surrounding grounds. The staff were extremely helpful and the facilities were excellent.

Just traveling back after a two night stay at The Lighthouse. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was very pleasant and comfortable. Small kitchen next to our room which was a lovely bonus for us. Breakfast was really lovely with great service. Would highly recommend if you want to explore Bath and Longleat.

Thank you very much for your review. Yes, the small kitchen is handy, especially if guests have small children. We don't advertise it on the website as it is quite small and could not be used by everyone at the same time (!) but it is great for families and those who are staying for a longer time.

We stayed here over night for a longleat trip, the grounds are absolutely stunning, wish we had time to take a walk around but enjoyed our view very much! The rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable, we were left towels, shampoo, conditioner etc and had a lovely breakfast in the morning, perfect for me and the children but my husband...

Thank you very much for your review. There are some good points for us to action, especially being able to find your way in the dark - nighttime adventures are not part of the package we promise!

Our second time here- this time with the kids - and another great stay! Perfect holiday place for a family. We had a spacious family room and even access to a kitchen! The weather was gorgeous so we took walks around the vast land and also played tennis on the grass using the equipment the hotel provided. Also a lovely...

I stayed here in a large group for a night. The staff were very welcoming and I had a very pleasant stay. The breakfast and coffee was great in the cafe, and the Fox down the road was great for dinner.
