Lovely quaint English pub. Evening meal excellent and plenty. Made to feel welcome.
Rooms adequate and very clean. If you enjoy walking good place for a base. Is close to longleat. Very quiet location little traffic off the beaten track. Local beers and cider
If you are looking for a reasonably priced overnight stop to visit Longleat or other local attractions, The Full Moon is perfectly adequate. Yes, the place is a little dated and in need of a re-furbishment, but the evening meal was good and very reasonable...More

We've booked a couple of nights at The Full Moon at Rudge through Travelzoo next week. Since we booked I see they've gone into receivership and also that the standard (contrary to their website) is actually a bit tired and not that clean. It's such a lottery these days as you so often find that the reality doesn't match up. I would love your views on The Full Moon (you can be honest!!). Thanks for your help.

We stayed in the garden rooms not in the pub, they were en- suite and clean and tidy.
I would agree the pub does look a little tired, but the breakfast's were well cooked and delicious.
