Fast friendly reception clean room exactly as expected from premier Inn. Easy to find and good for getting to Bath from. Beefeater was great although a restricted menu due to covid but still high standards. Only 2 minor things, bed was a little tired and the vending machines are too expensive for last minute snacks and drinks. There is a garage 100 yards away which has a supermarket and Greg's bakery which was great. Being honest a great premiere Inn.

Nice comfortable room, friendly staff and great parking facilities. Checking in and out was straightforward and, as we have always found with Premier Inn, very good value for money. Great that the buffet breakfast is back !

We called ahead of our visit and asked if we could have an upstairs room in the quiet part of the hotel. When we arrived I asked again if we could have an upstairs room in the quiet part of the hotel and she said yes that’s fine. The only thing that they got correct was that the room was upstairs. The room we were given was 102 which is right at the top of the stairs and directly over the outside area of the pub. I went down and asked to change which the man gave me 141, this time it was quieter but by no means the quietest. It faces the 24hr garage which was busy pretty much all night. The staff need to be aware of the noise around this hotel! Please note due to the location of this Premier In it is not the quietest, I would look to stay in a different one next time.

I suppose you get what you pay for in places like this. What I didn’t expect was a cold room with a small wall heater for company. No chance of booking a table at the Beefeater for supper as the tables were always full. Noisy outside and a constant parade of people walking up the corridor. Staff were clueless and let to solve problems with little training. Black mould on the side of the bath top. Want budget? This is for you. Want premier? Go elsewhere.

What a wonderful stay after visiting longleat with my wife and 18 month little girl (15 minutes away ) called in advance for a pi wow for my wife’s birthday which was excellently dealt with by Sam on nights he was more than happy to help ,was a lovely surprise to be greeted by Sam when checking in (swift and seamless checking) asset to the company working all the shifts !! Give that man a raise ! …..we decided to eat in in the beefeater and was waited on by the lovely Amy ! Although they were super busy they managed to accommodate us and Amy gave us excellent service even stopping to have a little chat (which is needed sometimes outside of the rushing around ) she’s and amazing member of staff and will also make a wonderful Aunty :) ……room spotless so hats off to the housekeeping team and everyone else that works in this premier inn and beefeater
