We had a great stay with John and Elaine. Fantastic food and they are so friendly. The place is immaculate and the service was first class. If you are into railways - John drives a puffer on the West Somerset! We will definitely be returning.

We recently stayed at the Rosebank for a second time. As before, our hosts John and Elaine were delightful and we were welcomed as though we were old friends. Our room (a "superior" on the first floor with a lovely view towards Wales) was perfect, and once again had those little extra touches to enhance our stay. Elaine's breakfasts are...

We recently got married, so my sister-in-law and her husband arranged a surprise two night stay. We had no idea where we were going it was only when they took us to Bishop Lydeard and put us on the steam train to Minehead, we knew. Upon arrival John was there to meet us and after a short break he took...

John and Elaine were great hosts. The room was very comfortable with great views over the coast. Spotless and lots of extra touches in the room. The breakfast was very good and made to exact request. I would not hesitate to recommend and will use again when staying in the area. A fantastic weekend with many great walks on exmoor...

Excellent B & B You will not be disappointed. Hosts John and Elaine are smashing. I have stayed here 3 times a year, for the last three years or so. Rooms are always very clean and tidy. No problems what so ever.

I have stayed at the Rose Bank Guest House now a couple of times, and quite frankly it wows! You could not find two more amazing people, you could not conclude anything different when the service provided is that of a home, away from home. The bedrooms are exquisite. Tastefully decorated, very comfortable and on our most recent stay we...

Return visitor sometimes with friends, sometimes alone. This is my second visit with my girlfirend. John and Elaine were fantastically welcoming hosts, always very warm. It is a home away from home. The rooms are fantastic, beautifully appointed and a labour of love. We had a room with rocking chairs in it which was an unexpected delight - hadn't had...

My wife and I stayed with John and Elaine at Rose Bank for only 1 night, this was our first of, we hope, many visits. We immediately felt welcomed and at home in an immaculately kept, comfortable room which has been fitted with all the little extras you would not find in any larger more corporate establishment. (Spare wash bag,...
