We got a taxi here so I could have a drink, it was so worth it as I could relax. They catered for the girls &...

Myself and my family have been coming to the Culbone to eat for many years and have seen it go through many refurbishments. Despite the changes, the quality of the food has always held a high standard and we have been happy to return. Until tonight, that is. Before I go into the disappointments, I would like to say that...

A fabulous find for lunch, with a wonderful choice from a very well balanced menu, lovely food and service. Especially liked the Smoked Venison starter, although the Cod and the Scallops Gratin were fantastic too!

We - a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 children) - enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch here. Food was delicious. Starters included Whitebait and Venison, while main courses ranged from gourmet burgers to roast beef. The kids loved their choices, and delivered clean plates up, while us adults savoured the chance to enjoy a meal while the kids played...

We have just returned from a short break at the Culbone Inn the food is excellent, and the breakfasts delicious, staff very friendly and excellent service. I can agree with all the comments on Trip Advisor concerning the food. I do not think the room we were given No 3 was up to the same standard as the food, which...

Had an outstanding lunch here. Service was superb and friendly. The food was excellent. One of our family actually said he didn't want the meal to end it was so good. Also, in summer, if you sit outside you will have a magnificent view. A must if in the area!

You won't be disappointed! I selected The Culbone, partly as a result of tripadvisor feedback, as the meeting point for a group of friends arriving for a short 4 break. We met on a quiet Wednesday lunch time and Tony and his wife could not have been more friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed a light lunch. I had already...

Surrounded by beautiful countryside, this is a gem. Clean, comfortable room, charming, welcoming staff and above all excellent food. A very well run Inn. It even provides details of four circular walks of differing lengths.
