This hotel is like no other I have ever stayed at. It has not been altered , it seems, since it was a grand family home and staying here feels like you are stepping back in time and experiencing life as you would if you lived here long ago. The staff are so welcoming and our whole family loved the...

I have given this one star but if the opportunity arose I would give it a minus. The service was diabolical - almost thirty minutes to provide a pot of tea. We were also charged for drinks we didn't have, although when this was discovered, I was given a refund. But £28.00 for two pots of tea? When I complained...

We had called ahead and we're kindly told we would be allocated the library. On arrival the manager was very rude saying to his colleague he was unable to fit us anywhere, whilst we were standing right in front of him. We were shown into the servant's kitchen which smelt heavily of damp. Or order of drinks took a very...

We got this booking via Groupon. The Hotel is set in the middle of a lovely estate. The facade is neo classical and grande. The welcome was warm, our room very comfortable and the breakfast extensive in variety and delicious. Having found the dinner offer too pricey, we were gladly reccomended a nearby pub, which was very satisfactory in its...

Had booked the Ston Easton to take family for drinks. We are local and had pre arranged the library to have drinks. We enjoyed part of our visit in the sunshine but then the rains came. Unfortunately the library had been taken over by over visitors. We asked where we could go to which the answer was 'nowhere?'. My sister...

Booked a late availability offer and was able to request the beautiful Master State Room and Early Check in from 1130hrs. We were not disappointed. We arrived with our dog and had a light lunch in the Lounge. This is a really special place as the hotel isn't just dog friendly, they really do love dogs and our boy was...

Four customer service “touches” and offerings made this hotel stand out for me: 1. Each room is completely bespoke: unique furnishings, colour scheme, bed style, etc – all beautifully completed to an individualised room interior design. It is the antithesis of the chain hotels with their “identikit” rooms. 2. Huge, sumptuous, communal rooms eg drawing room, salon, painting room, library,...

We stayed at Ston Easton Hotel for one night for our anniversary weekend away. The hotel is very grand looking and beautifully presented. We were warmly greeted and were able to get our room slightly earlier than expected due to our early arrival. We stayed in 'Kent' which was a beautiful room with an amazing bathroom. The food in the...

Used a Groupon voucher for a night's bed and breakfast and this made it good value. Nice walks in the grounds and around the extensive kitchen garden. Only small problem was that the WiFi had been down and wouldn't be restored until after we left.
