Centrally located, comfortable, warm + welcoming B&B. Emma is the perfect hostess with a banana cake to die for! She cares about Watchet & the local area. She is full of information & advice to help you plan your day's activities. We would certainly return to this B&B and Watchet.

My husband and myself have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Bank House and would highly recommend it. Emma is a lovely host and nothing is to much trouble, she is a hive of information on the local area and interests. The breakfast is excellent cooked to your liking and keeps you going well into the afternoon. An excellent location with the added bonus of free parking. Everything is close by buses, trains lovely little shops and some very nice little pubs! You wont be disappointed with the Bank House!

Thank you Emma for a warm welcome, the coffee and cake on arrival was most welcome, sorry I didn't make breakfast! I can thoroughly recommend this B&B for its location, cleanliness, free car park and WiFi. Watchet is a great location for the West Somerset Railway and The Bank House is just a couple of hundred yards from the station.

We stayed for one night in September 2013 and were warmly welcomed by Emma with a cuppa and cake. The room was compact but very comfortable with a large shower room, the one thing needing attention was the bottom of the shower where there was some mold/mildew which was a shame given the overall cleanliness. The bed was a good size and comfortable, though quite low to the ground.Sleep quality I am sure would have been good but there was some traffic noise from the road outside which continued till quite late.Breakfast was excellent and Emma was attentive to her guest's needs without being over bearing. We loved meeting the dogs, Badger an elderly lurcher and Belle a very sprightly young spaniel. The B&B is ideally situated to explore Watchet and surrounding area with the plus of private parking (even if a bit tight). Overall a very good B&B where we would certainly return if in the area.

From the time of our arrival to the time we left, nothing was too much trouble for the owners. Everywhere was spotless, the Bedroom was roomy and had free wi fi. The breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. The bonus of having on site parking in Watchet is a real plus point. It is an ideal base for exploring the local attractions. We spent our time walking and the owners have local O/s maps and walking books to hand. I can highly recommend the walk from Porlock weir to Culbone Church......simply stunning. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
