We camped here for just under a week (Sat-Fri) with a trailer tent. When we booked we were told that there would be no LX hook up available until the Monday but that we would get it then. What they didn't mention was that the only place that would have been possible would be right at the bottom of the field, which was too busy for us to pitch on when we arrived. So having paid for electricity we ended up not getting any for the entire week as once the trailer tent is pitched you can't easily move. The other thing to know is that if you're camping here, the whole field is on a slope. Shower facilities are fine but there really is nowhere to change or keep your things dry (just a hook on the back of the door or a plastic chair outside the shower) and the shower button is on the opposite wall to the showers. You have to start the shower, then get into the cubicle, get undressed without getting everything wet then get in the shower. It's an experience but the showers and toilets were clean and we never had to queue - but anyone expecting European standards will be in for a bit of a surprise. Something else to be aware of is that the Reception/shop building is only open for very limited hours in the morning and late afternoon, as is the pool. Having said all that it is a lovely part of the coastline with plenty to see and do within a short distance and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed our holiday but I know that others may not be as prepared as we were!

If you haven't been on holiday since 1985 you'll love this place! As caravan parks go i've been to worse. It is clean enough although insufficient refuse bins meant rubbish overflowing until bin day. Yes there is a heated indoor pool - great, except it is open 1500-1700 for 2 hours a day at £1 per head. It also open for one hour in the morning for adults only to use. That is in fact a good idea, but the whole principle that the owners of the park can dictate to you that you need to be back for 3pm if you wish to swim is laughable. The old guy who sits and oversees the pool use is not even a life guard so why bother. Open it all day for goodness sake. The shop opens on similar limited hours. There is a private beach - except it is a collection of rocks, stones and sticky mud. Now back to the 80's again - the wifi or LACK of. The signal is VERY hit and miss and I could hardly download a simple web page - annoying when you are trying to research local attractions etc. There is NO phone signal either, not even 3G let alone 4G! It took many attempts to 'join' the fee wifi only to find it pretty useless. There is a free bus operated by Somerset Passenger Solutions (Monday to Friday) 3 times a day towards Minehead in one direction at 1059, 1259 and 1459, and the other way towards Watchet and Bridgwater at 1025, 1155 and 1355 but hard to find the details anywhere. It stops outside the park entrance. You can walk from the private beach to Watchet at low tide but be careful as large parts of the sand is actually mud and I got firmly stuck ankle deep on the one occasion. To summarise - with bit of effort this could be one of the best parks in the area but the owners seems content to do the bare minimum. Such a shame, we won't be back.

Visited this site with family and found the place was poor very poor quality camping field on a hill which is ridiculous. The staff were rude to my partner and myself the swimming pool was only open on a weekend for two hours, much to the disappointment of my kids and was over crowded during opening times with no properly trained life guards. The toilets were horrid tiny cubicles..had too pay for a shower with no towel rails or anywhere to put your wash items. The beach look like a asteroid had hit it and scattered everywhere ..did I mention the rude staff? Would not recommended this place too anyone DO NOT STAY HERE...EVER. it's a shame a beautiful town with a hick "holiday "village

Visited warren bay with my family to find....the staff were rude, swimmimg pool was only open for 1 day for 2 hours which you have to pay for. Broken drinking water tap, showers Were awful no where to get changed or hang towels tiny small cubicles which again you have to pay for via tokens only available from tje shop which isnt open for very long. Very very hilly which made camping extremely difficult. Private beach is NOT a beach more a rock/mud/slush beach which you have to walk down a terrible over grown lane to access. Really really disappointed and definitionly will not be returning.

On visit to see friends in Watchet ,stayed for just one night-site was quiet ,as most holidaymakers gone but everything was spotless clean & available . Lady @ shop was extremely helpful -as were the owner and his assistant. My 'old' van due in for glow plug replacements this week ,refused to start-they came straight away and gave a 'pull' so I could bump start on gradient-well done-thanks Plan to re-visit soon -with no start problems! Best route to walk to Watchet is via 'Old Mineral Line'-the coastal route has magnificent views ,but road part is a bit daunting ,especially in dark.
