I booked the Alton towers hotel for my daughters birthday to coincide with scare fest as she likes the makeup side of costume design ect she was excited for the trip. She had recently been diagnosed with coeliac's disease and was happy to read that they had gluten free menus available. The hotel is pricey but boosts 4* I even...

My work has had its functions here for the last few years and I have to say I really enjoy the venue. On the whole Alton Towers look after us, but there are a few small quibbles that stop me from giving it 5 stars. The food on offer for lunch and dinner is merely OK, and the restaurant is...

Stopped in the hotel beginning of September and just felt it was like a cheap travelodge with alton towers expense. Rooms are paper thin, No cot for 1 year old so asked for extra pillows didn't receive. 4 year old fell down the gap in the bed between bed and wall in middle of night. Dust, kettle full of limescaleand...

After an unsuccessful stay in the Enchanted Lodges last year we decided to try the Alton Towers Hotel this year. We opted for the Moon Voyager room with the separate sleeping area for the children. The room was fantastic. Really nice theming and the children adored the giant teddy bear on our bed. Such a lovely touch. The bed was...

Best thing about the stay this time was the bathroom seemed brand new, great shower and nice clean new paint. The bedroom was fine, the furniture was getting old but in good condition. One issue was having to go under the desk to find a plug that our phone charger could get into! The other issue was the curtains didn't...

We stayed here on the 5th November and I was very disappointed with the service we received. The first thing was the rather abrupt security guard on the door, asking us for our room number before we had checked in. Then on to check in, we were asked what time we wanted Breakfast with 2 options 7:30 or 10AM we...

Went for the fireworks special weekend. Granted this weekend was the coldest bonfire evening yet but on arrival to our room the heating wasn't switched on so we were freezing. Easily fixed though by ourselves. The restaurant was freezing, even the staff were complaining. We had hoped for the "butchers block" for tea but after being asked how we'd like...

We stayed during scare fest as a family, with a 7 and 9 year old. We stayed in a moon-voyager room. Kids loved having the Xbox in the room! Great evening entertainment, we ate in the restaurant, food ok. Service good. Breakfast choice good and food all nice enough. Busy as you would expect with everyone wanting to get into...

We stayed for one night with our 3 children in a standard voyager room. The room is cramped and pretty basic but at least they provide family rooms for those of us that dare to have 3 children!
