We stayed for a weekend whilst visiting Alton Towers. We arrived at 7pm and Margaret made us feel very welcome and she was fantastic with my Step Son. She showed us the breakfast room which is full of teddies that have been won from the park, we found this really quirky and we liked it. We were in a Chalet...

We stayed here as part of a long weekend going to the world snooker in Shaffield then a National Trust visit in the Peak District. Booked this Pub/Hotel on Booking.com on a two night deal in one of the budget rooms and on the strength of a review which said it was fabulous? The room was certainly "Budget", looking tired...

I visited a while ago but looks like its been up dated. The staff was very nice and the food was lovely. The only thing that put me of coming back is all the toys hanging from ceiling. Whilst trying to eat my breakfast there was moths flying around which really put me of. I am returning to alton towers...

I booked to stay here as part of a trip to Alton Towers and would definitely stay again. Before arrival Margaret was kind enough to get in touch with us to let us know that the park was actually closed and gave us the choice if we wanted to still stay or not, given that we were flexible on when...

Stayed here for three nights as a stop off for Alton Towers. Initial impression was the village pub from "American Werewolf in London"!! . Glad to say first impression was wrong, booked a chalet to side of pub and was pleasantly surprised (compact and bijou) but very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was splendid, as for...

Excellent place to stay in a beautiful area with stunning views. The room we stayed in slept 6, two double beds and and a bunk bed. It had a private (and gorgeous) shower with a toilet, the beds were comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities were included alongside a TV. The room was clean and a fantastic size! The main...

Myself and my partner decided to meet up with a friend in tean, therefore decided to make a weekend of it and stay up for the night and go Alton towers the next day. We struggled to find peak stones at first, but that was purely because our sat nav was taking us elsewhere! But we found it and shown...

I really like this place, the Inn itself is beautiful with friendly staff and well priced good quality food. I loved the round pool table, very tricky to play on. The rooms themselves are nice and cosy, the furniture isn't top class but is more than up to the job. The dining room is amazing, a must for kids and...
